The narrator demonstrates selecting multiple items and shows the Order Summary add-on updating totals, arguing this increases average cart value.
In this video I want to show you a quick demonstration of an add on called multiple products. And what this allows you to do is actually replace your normal product selector radio buttons where you can only choose one thing and actually changes that to checkboxes where the customer can actually check off each item that they want to buy. So this is going to let somebody pick more than one thing from your available options and it's going to increase your average cart value because people, people can buy more than one thing at a time, which is really nice. So we've got an order form here and we've got this all filled out and this is just a two step order form. It's worth the same on a one step order form as well. Anywhere you have a product selector, it's going to swap out and change the radio buttons to checkboxes and allow customers to pick more than one thing at a time. So if we click go to step two then we'll see here now we have checkboxes and if we check multiple boxes, normally you'd only be able to check one of these and as you check the second then it would change products. And now we can see our order summary even pops in because we've got the order summary add on installed as well. So now we can actually check multiple things and now we can see both of those items are added and these two are set up for another test where we're doing the Conus and Oconus shipping. But we can go ahead and check those boxes as well because they're not hidden here and we can see that they show up and it totals everything up because again we have the order summary add on installed with this. We want to add that in first as well. And then we can use the multiple products so that we can check multiple boxes and add more than one thing at a time. So it helps to really increase that average car value. So hopefully you like it and hopefully you put it to good use.
