A short demo by Jaime Smith showing the "OTO International Shipping" add-on for OTO product pages. The add-on lets sellers add a separate shipping charge (distinct from the product price) and apply different amounts depending on whether the order is domestic (United States in the example) or international. Example used: product price $97, with $14.95 charged for US/domestic shipping and $29.95 for international shipping.

Hey there. In this video we'll walk through a quick demonstration of an add on that is called OTO International Shipping. So what this works is it allows you to add shipping charges to your OTO products that are separate from the product charge itself. So I've got an OTO page here and you can see it might look somewhat similar to say, a Traffic Secrets OTO page. And on this one we have a box set that we're selling. And for this box set, it's a $97 charge for the the box set itself. But we want to charge either 1495 for US shipping or 29.95 for international shipping. And so the US or you know, what's considered domestic. In this case it's United States, but what's considered domestic and what's considered international is completely in your control. But in this case we want to do United States. If it's a United States order, they've selected United States on the order form previous to this OTO page, then we're going to use that same country and the same shipping address and we're going to apply the 1495 shipping. If they selected anything other than the United States on the order form, then we're going to put a 2995 additional shipping onto this purchase. So they're going to buy not just the box set, they're going to buy the shipping charge as well, one or the other 1495 or 29.95. So, and the code will take care of all that. So that's what this add on does, is it allows you to set up an offer like this where you actually collect a shipping charge so you can have a lower price on the product itself and then collect an appropriate amount of shipping based on is it a domestic or in an international order. And so that's what this add on does. And I hope you like it and I hope you put it to good use.
