"Scroll to Error" (a CF Pro Tools add-on).
Hey there. In this video I want to show you a quick demonstration of an add on called scroll to Error. And it does exactly what you think it might, which is it scrolls the page to the error in which somebody might miss a required field. Now, you would think that this would be normal, but it's actually not. Clickfunnels page here I've got an order form and if I were to scroll up here and leave just this last field visible and click the. But I notice I haven't filled anything out here and I were to click this, go to step two. We can see that this one's turns green because it's already selected as United States. But if I scroll up, it's not letting me do anything. Your customer may be here. If they're here and they click this and they don't know, or if they're on mobile and they don't know that they haven't filled out those other fields, they may not be. You know, they could keep clicking and not know what the heck's going on, but they scroll up, then they'll see these are all highlighted in red, which is great. So what we want to do is actually scroll them to that first field that's turned red so that they know that they need to fill out these fields. So that's what the scroll to Error does. So I'm back in my CF Pro Tools account here. I'm just going to turn on this add on. I've got it installed, I'm going to turn it on and I'm going to go ahead and hard refresh this page and then we're going to try the same thing. And so now once this page loads, if we go in and we scroll down and again we get all those fields out of view and we click. Go to step two. Now it scrolls us to that first field that has the error so that we know that we need to fill in these fields. So that's what the scroll to air add on does. And I hope you like it, I hope you put it to good use.
