This is a podcast episode titled "EmSculpt Neo for Fat Reduction" (created 2024-12-10) featuring a single speaker presenting an educational/clinical overview of the Emsculpt and Emsculpt NEO devices. The speaker reviews device history and mechanism (electromagnetic muscle stimulation producing high-frequency contractions and radiofrequency heating to induce adipocyte apoptosis), typical treatment protocol and parameters (generally 3–4 sessions, commonly four sessions ~1–2 weeks apart, ~30 minutes per treatment; RF temperatures discussed around 43°C for fat apoptosis and lower <42°C to favor muscle hypertrophy), expected outcomes (roughly 25–30% permanent fat-cell reduction after the full course and ~25% muscle thickness increase), timing for results (improvements continue for ~2 months post-treatment), tuning for different areas (abdomen, flanks, buttocks, arms, thighs), maintenance recommendations (single follow-up treatments quarterly or every six months), ideal candidates (patients near their ideal weight or post-weight-loss with localized stubborn fat or thinner patients seeking muscle building), and that the procedure complements but does not replace diet/lifestyle or weight-loss medications. The tone is informative and not a multi-speaker conversation.

Foreign. Talk to you about fat reduction using the M Sculpt Neo. So M Sculpt is a technology, came out about 2019 for FDA approval, maybe it was 18. And it was designed to use electromagnetic energy to build muscle and reduce some fat. It worked pretty good. We had, we've had it since that time. We saw about a 20% reduction in fat, but it wasn't a permanent reduction. And we saw about a 20% improvement in muscle tone. The classic areas they use on the, say, the abdomen to get some abs. And it was. Worked well, but didn't really catch on. Then Emsculpt came out with the neo. They had a technology for years that they were using radio frequency to permanently melt fat. They took that device, a different name, I'm not going to talk about that, be confusing. But they had a different device that was melting fat and they had this building muscle and shrinking fat technology. They put them together, they put them together, they came out. That's called the Emsculpt neo. And let's just go over what we should expect with that, who's their ideal patient for it, and how long it takes to get results and that sort of thing. So the Emsculpt NEO uses two things, use electromagnetic energy to stimulate the muscles. Kind of like doing 20,000 contractions over 20 minutes. And it builds muscle. And surprisingly, there's no soreness afterwards. For most people you might have a little bit of soreness, but it's not that much. And the procedure itself is. Feels weird, but it's not painful. So it's not painful. You feel this tightness and then the NEO portion, which is the radio frequency, sends radio frequency into the fat cells. And depending on what temperature set it, we could either enhance the muscle tightening or we can do enhance muscle tightening and melt fat and permanent melting of fats called apoptosis of fat. The neo, if we keep the, if we put that temperature up to a certain amount, let's say 43 degrees for 20 minutes, 43 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes, a certain percentage of the fat cells die. And that's not a huge percentage, it's a few percent. But if we do this three or four times, we get about a 25% reduction, permanent reduction in fat cells. So that's, that's pretty good. We also get about a 25% improvement in muscle thickness. Let me restate that. The improve the reduction in fat after four treatments is actually 30%. The original studies were using three, so four treatments, which we're typically doing. We see a pertinent reduction of fat cells by 30%. After the fourth treatment, it takes about a month or two to see those results. And we see about 25% increase of the thickness of the muscle. Now we can fine tune this as well. So let's say we're doing the buttocks where somebody wants to preserve fat and build a bigger buttock, somebody wants a fuller butt. We turn the temperature down below 42 degrees, and now we enhance the effectiveness of muscle build. So over the original end sculpt, the classic one, this gives us more muscle build, more like 25% muscle build that the older one did, about 17%. So we can tune those things. There's also pieces. There's pieces for your abdomen, for your buttocks. You can do the thighs, you can do the biceps and the triceps. So there's multiple different adapters we can do. We can get the flanks. And the most common thing we're treating right now is the abdomen and flanks. For people that have particularly at the weight they want to be at or they've lost weight, maybe they use semaglutide or something and they're trying to get the extra little fat off. It takes four sessions, but typically about one to two weeks apart. And you do this procedure and the muscle hypertrophy and hyperplasia, which is more muscle fibers, grows over about two months after you finish. So you continue getting better and then you assess if you want to do it again. Now the fat reduction is, is permanent. Now you can always gain weight, but you'll have less fat cells, so the fat reduction is permanent. If your weight stays the same, you know, that is permanent. And the muscle group G not permanent. It seems to last several months. So typically somebody might do their session of four and then do once a quarter or once every six months, come back in for a single treatment. Seems to preserve the hypertrophy. In addition, you can also be, you know, obviously doing your exercise and stuff in between. So that's the emsculpt and emsculpt neo. The ideal patient for it is somebody that is not obese who is either at the weight close to their ideal weight, or they're happy with their weight currently, or they've lost weight recently and they're having targeted areas. It could also be somebody that's that that's relatively thin and wants to build muscle. So that's something that. Something that's got low body fat. We can adjust this. We're not taking more fat out and just focus on muscle hypertrophy. Again, same same thing Typically four sessions, about, you know, one over two weeks apart. So that's the Emsculpt Neo we're seeing that the fat reduction that's been popularized with semaglutide and tazipatide, you know, we'll go via zic and Mano Zepbound have all led to people thinking differently about their health and wanting to be in better shape. And so we're know more people at the gym eating better food and that's great. And still you might have some areas that just are struggling. And that's what the Emsculpt Neo is for, is for the area that you want to have more self confidence in a certain setting and you want to trim up certain areas. The Emsculpt is for you. It is not an alternative to diet lifestyle. That's, that's obviously paramount. Number one, it could be used in conjunction with doing weight loss medications. It could be used after weight loss medications. That's where like, like to see people as, you know, really get to their ideal weight through maybe using medication and doing lifestyle and dietary changes and getting where you want to be. And then let's kind of finish this off, get us more confidence. So that's the end. Sculpt Neo. The procedure itself takes 30 minutes. Even though I said we're keeping the temperature at 20 minutes of heat, it's 30 minutes as a normal treatment time. You can do multiple areas in one setting, but it's got to be separated by, you know, you do 30 minutes here, 30 minutes here, 30 minutes here. So somebody's doing their arms. You might want to do the tricep for 30 minutes and the bicep for 30 minutes. Admin 30 minutes. Flanks for 30 minutes, but it's going to be 30 minutes as well. So I'm sculpting Neo4 sessions and maintenance is needed. Um, it's something that's been proven to work unequivocally. It's been around for some time. The about 19 when it first came out. The radio frequency has been out much longer than that. And combining these two has been, has been the beauty Synergistic. The heat actually makes the muscle build more and the muscle build allows you to get, you know, get closer to getting a six pack if you reduce fat and build muscle. So thank you very much.
