Jorge Masvidal LIVE Procedure (Stem Cells for Hairloss)

In this video, I'm going to talk about how we're helping Jorge Masvidal, UFC legend and BMF champ, not only stay in great shape but also to have great aesthetic-pleasing hair. With that being said, let's dive in and take a look at what we were doing with BMF champ Jorge Masvidal. So as I'm reviewing the tape right here, what we're seeing is we're just having a consultation about his history. And what he would tell you in his own words is that stem cells and exosomes have helped fix not only his hip, but many other aspects, allowing him to perform longer and stay in competition longer than most athletes previous to this generation. And one of the things that a lot of athletes that we work with, and we've worked with UFC athletes, Bellator, WWE, NFL, and even Olympians to help them stay and play longer. And Jorge will tell you the same thing. He actually believes this fixed his hip. There was a point where he wasn't even able to run the way he wanted to and had to use an Assault Bike and is now actually able to run long distances and actually keep up his cardio, which is really something interesting to see. So now what we're doing is we're just describing every little piece of the therapy, all the way from numbing the scalp and actually doing the micropore injections, as well as an atomized stem cell and exosome solution for this patient. And so we'll walk you through the exact steps of the video. He's already been numbed, so the topical solution has been placed on the scalp, which is allowing him to get numbness to this area so that he doesn't feel the pokes and pressure on the head. So here what you're seeing is we're actually taking alcohol wipes to make sure the entire area is sterilized, both pre and post application of the numbing agent. So as you can see, it's a very small microneedling device that's handheld being used just to create these small channels. You can use larger radio frequency device or even golden tip devices. However, only goal here is to create small micro channels to allow the passage of these stem cells and exosomes easily through the scalp. So what's really important to notice on screen right now as we're beginning to atomize and aerosolize the exosome part before we put on the live cells is the different parts of the scalp. So if you notice this area here that's starting to recede, that area has likely been dead for a long time and will not grow back with the stem cell exosome solution alone. You need an FUE to do an area that's completely shiny bald. You may get some growth around the beginning to make this area look smaller, but the main intention here is to keep that long, lush, natural hair that he already has and to stop any shedding. Also, the goal here is to help prep this area of the scalp. So, the goal in prepping these bald areas, which will likely not grow back with stem cell neck stems alone, is to help provide that nice foundation. And we've talked about this in a lot of videos before. It's kind of like planting grass on a healthy soil versus an unfertile or unirrigated soil system. So, if I took just one single blade of grass and I transplanted it from healthy soil to soil that had no irrigation and no nutrient supply, the likelihood of that hair shaft or that blade of grass doing well is very poor. Now, if I was to use another solution or create more pipes to create irrigation or more flow, you would likely have a healthier blade of grass or a healthier follicle in this case. So the goal, and we could see in this research study here, here, and here, is that stem cells and exosomes may actually induce a process called angiogenesis, which just means new blood vessel growth or more irrigation into that area. And so we're prepping his scalp in anticipation for actually doing the procedure where we transplant the follicles back into this area whilst keeping the hair that he has to stop shedding and for it to keep its natural healthy appearance. So as you can see, we're going over the entire scalp and we're going over the entire head in this video to make sure that each follicle is getting part of the solution. So again, you could see looking at the end of this video, his scalp is fine. He's actually ready to go back to his normal activities the same day. There's no downtime, there's no swelling, there's no bleeding in the scalp, and he barely felt what we were doing. He noticed some little pressure sensations from the numbing medication that we put on. And probably the most important thing to note is that he's taking 24 hours off not to sweat into the area, which we do recommend, but he's able to go to dinner, he's able to do his normal daily activities.
