This is a YouTube video titled "Having the right price is key to being profitable" containing a monologue or talk discussing pricing strategies, specifically how to set fees to ensure profitability by considering labor costs, margins, and client affordability. The content appears to be a single speaker explaining financial concepts related to billing and pricing.
If someone does work for you for $100 an hour, you're not billing the client in equivalent fees of $100 an hour. At least it's not at 100, you're really subsidizing their job. And if you're not leaving a margin for you. Right. To get paid for doing that, you're still subsidizing their job. So the least you can charge is the amount that it would take someone else to do that work, plus a margin of 30 to 60%. And that's the amount that you get to take. So if we've established the lowest amount that you can charge and the highest amount you can charge, where do we fall? In the middle. And so there is. Where we fall in the middle, there is with affordability. And affordability depends on how much they can afford. And you know that because you look at their financials.
