But I did want to share a win with you here, Charles. I engaged with a client as a referral back in September, October timeframe, and they're kind of still in startup mode. In December, we're kind of reviewing the books, looking things over, and things are looking okay. I mean, they're kind of breaking even, but I dropped some CFO breadcrumbs at that point in time and said, okay guys, what's the vision? Or where do you see yourselves going from here? I want to be at $1.5 million by August. Okay. And so we created this roadmap. There's not much that we could do below the line, but I'm looking at utilization of their inspector. And those costs and how much more bandwidth they may have.
We've got a sales issue that we've got to address.
So we started looking at their different service lines, which ones are making the most money, and came up with a strategy. Long story short, I said, okay, if you are able to increase your sales by 7.5% per month, month over month, by August you'll be at $125,000 a month and at $1.5 million in sales. I met with them last week and we looked at that roadmap, that forecast that we did, and they hit their sales target every single month for the last 3 months. Are they hiring you as their CFO now?
They realized that like you're making them a bunch of money.
And she said to me, Charles, so when can we get you on every month now?
Now, now, here's the invoice.
And so we did it. And so we did it. Yeah. And so, yeah, I mean, I locked into them at, you know, $2,500 a month plus the bookkeeping and they're thrilled. I'm so excited for them and I'm excited, you know, to see what we were able to do just by kind of not even jumping in and doing hard work, but just kind of using some what was probably just common sense for all of us. To come up with a strategy.
