This is a YouTube video titled "Pricing is key in your accounting firm" containing a monologue or talk focused on pricing strategies for accountants, explaining the concept of the "perfect price" as the maximum value-based charge to clients. The content is educational and aimed at professionals in accounting.
If you're an accountant and you want to learn how to price things perfectly. And what I really like to talk about is what I call is having the perfect price. And the perfect price is defined as a couple ways. The most you can charge someone, which is up here, is the amount of value that you create for them, minus a dollar. So if you make someone a hundred dollars worth of value, you can charge them $99. Now, if you were charging above that threshold, what happens there is they're going to get upset, not want to work with you anymore or anything like that. So you never want to charge more than the value that you create.
