This is a YouTube video titled "What is the Makeup of the Participants of the CRO Accelerator Course?" containing a monologue or single-speaker discussion from March 13, 2024. The speaker explains their approach to managing course enrollment, emphasizing quality over quantity, and discusses plans for a future self-paced version of the course. The content is related to CRO (Conversion Rate Optimization) and is part of a channel that mostly features conversations on this topic, but this excerpt itself is not a multi-speaker conversation.
So on average I get, let's say the course of a month. And right now, you know, just transparently I haven't made a huge push into promoting it. So I'm not spending any money on marketing, I'm not doing any advertising of any kind. Everything that I'm doing right now is all through demand gen thought leadership that I'm doing on LinkedIn. That's where I get all my inbound from and my podcast. And so that's generating about between 50 to 75 applications a month. And I'd probably accept, well, I accept meaning I will interview about half of those and then I only accepted probably another a third of those. And then there's also issues where, you know, some people just can't make it or they don't sign up. So I'm pretty discerning. I'd say the reasoning mainly is because, you know, I could just let all 75 of those people join the course and I'd probably do pretty well. But that would very seriously deplete the value of the course and the quality of the course that I'm trying to create. So I'm not looking to build some huge, massive, you know, undertaking where I'm just letting anybody enroll and pay for the course. I'm looking to discern the quality of the people in the course because it's more importantly is how good is the experience for the people that are taking the course is more important to me because that's ultimately what I want is to produce a good result for my, my clients, my customers. That being said, there is a plan in place for me to produce a do it yourself version of the course that you can just, you know, download and do on your own. It'll be different. I think that that'll be offer a lot more people access to the material. But for the live facilitated course, where I believe there's really a larger, more in depth experience that's going to continue to be one that I evaluate.
