You're scared you don't want to do business with me. I wouldn't have invited you here if that were the case. Is that some piss running down your
leg? A bad investor is worse than a bad marriage because in a bad marriage, people get divorced. But it can be almost impossible to get a bad investor off your board if you're a startup and they buy equity from you. So please be careful with that. So how can you spot a bad investor? Well, when I worked in the hedge fund industry, my boss hired 25 year former CIA and FBI agents to help me identify four ways to tell if somebody is lying. And here's how you can use this in all aspects of your life. Number one, a liar rambles on and on and on to a simple yes or no question. Number two, a liar breaks eye contact more often than they usually do when they're lying. Number three, a liar touches their face more than usual when they're lying. And number four, a liar often shakes their leg or hand or part of their body more often when they're lying. And that is what a lie detector test can look for.
