Watch me start a firewood business

35 years ago, someone planted this Arizona ash tree. Last week it died. This week, my tree trimming company cut it down and dropped it off in my backyard. And now this pile of wood is going to change two young men's lives. A couple weeks ago, some 16 year old boys at church came up to me and said, chris, we want to start a firewood business. Can you help? I said, yeah, I got a tree trimming business. We just take this stuff to the dump. Here's what we're going to do. I'm going to buy a log splitter. They're going to come to my house, split the logs and I'm going to help them find customers. They're going to own the whole business and I'm going to take 10% of the revenue off the top. They're going to learn entrepreneurship because once you taste entrepreneurship, it never goes away. You might never start another other business, but you will never forget the taste.
