The first thing I'll say is there's this concept of decentralization. If you go out and you start researching, you'll see that almost every cryptocurrency claims to be decentralized. There's only one that really is, and that's bitcoin. So why decentralized? What's important about decentralized? Well, decentralized means there's no central point of control. There's no central point of failure. So bitcoin was created by a guy named Satoshi Nakamoto, who's an alias. Nobody knows who he is. Which, by the way, is the ultimate decentralization point, because it means there is no head. Right. He was a brilliant man. Maybe. We'll talk, time permitting, we'll talk about some of the beauty and elegance and technological innovation within bitcoin. But he created it. He got it working. He hung around for about two years after launching it, and he disappeared.
