The top five areas from 2024 were South Carolina, Texas, North Carolina, Florida, and Tennessee. These states offer a combination of not only affordable living, but also favorable tax policies. And they have growing job markets. If you're young, this isn't a surprise to people that are listening, because all these areas are places that experience real population booms over the past five years.
