ScalePad CEO Chris Day explains how the company is embedding AI into its products by turning multi-step tasks into single clicks. Rather than flashy features, ScalePad focuses on small, incremental improvements: reducing a minute-long task to five seconds, automating six steps across products. The company's philosophy is "slow is smooth and smooth is fast."

So our mindset around innovation and AI at Scalepad is that it is a foregone conclusion that AI will be a part of our everyday lives moving forward. We're starting to see that in the most simple form in our daily lives with you know, Google Pixel and Gemini and the new iPhone iOS release with ChatGPT built in, OpenAI built in. But we think of it in terms of how can we bring that intelligence out to the interface where our partners are interacting with their technology, interacting with their clients. And so we think it'll be discreet and slow, but You know, one of my favorite terms is slow is smooth and smooth is fast. So it's the idea of sprinkling little magical elements of AI into everyday life. And this is not just a feature, as I always talk about it, it's really more of a mindset around interfaces. So the idea that you consume a couple of products from Scalepad and just at the right time, in the right place in that product, We helped you do something that might have taken a minute and now it takes 5 seconds, or you're running a workflow and we identify that you're trying to do a task and we suggest, would you like us to just handle those 6 steps for you across 2 products? And so that's the kind of idea with AI. There will be, there'll be components of innovation within each product, each product having its own very detailed roadmap. But then there's the platform roadmap, and where we see a lot of the AI happening is at the platform level. So interacting with the massive amount of data that's behind the scenes, making suggestions, and optimizing workflow between apps. So from a VCIO activity to a compliance activity to a data risk activity, maybe with, with, with backups and disaster recovery, we see points of connectivity between all of those things. And we— it's kind of our job to make sure we just Measure twice and cut once, but do stuff that really blows your socks off.
