It's my birthday, and I have been off of YouTube for about two months now. We've had a baby. I've been in the hospital with an unexpected unplanned surgery. Totally threw our life out of whack. And now here we are, and I have 35 things that I have learned in my 35 years. So this is gonna be a very fun video. Let's dive in. So for starters, we had a baby high five. So baby number five was super great. He's a very good sleeper, which actually has not been the case for, well, most of them. But this one so far has been a very good sleeper, which was very, very nice. And then just a few weeks ago, I started having a whole bunch of, like, cardiac symptoms. So getting more faint, not quite passing out, but, you know, like, not feeling good. But if you don't know if you are new here on my channel, surprise. I actually have a pacemaker. I have had it for almost 16 years now. So I've actually had it for 15 years. So close to 16, I went into the doctor, turned out my battery died.
Apparently that's a thing that happens. So that was unplanned because last time.
I went into the appointment last year, the battery said that I had three years left.
That thing is 15 years old.
So just think back.
Technology has happened since then.
Fifteen years, you guys, I am now mobile app compatible. Do I look mobile app compatible? That's me. So I talked to the doctor and I was like, you guys really have to be more accurate about what, like, post surgery recovery is like, yeah, recovery is not so fun. But here's the thing. Recovery for a pacemaker is like double the not fun. When you have a toddler, a. Well, we have a toddler, a baby, a 4 year old, a and two other kids that are bigger.
And so when they were telling you about post recovery, it's just like, oh, yeah, just. It's not a big deal.
Just take it easy, Take it easy.
Just don't carry anything over 10 pounds.
They literally told me not carry anything over 10 pounds.
The baby's like 14 PO. It's like, what do you. What are you gonna do?
And so now I have something super fun.
Happy birthday.
Happy birthday to me. I am 35. And so I wrote down 35 things that I have learned in my 35 years. And yes, I am gonna take this off. So these are 35 things that I have learned in my 35 years. Some of them are practical. Some of them are just like, principles to follow.
It's not in any order, right?
Not in any order.
So we'll just kind of hit them.
As they come, but hopefully one of them really sticks with you. That's my goal. Like, I. One of these, like, is really like, oh, she wrote that for me. Yeah, I did. Number one, if you lose hope, you've lost. Now this is so important, you guys. Like, I just, I cannot tell you how important this is just for life in general, but also nursing school, because here's what we see. How many emails do we get from students who are saying, like, I can't do this, or I, I don't know how to do this, or I failed an exam. I know I'm going to fail out of the term. Xyz. Like, I literally, literally had a stud last term. She had failed not just one exam, but multiple exams. She came into the NMC and she was nearly, like, just feeling totally down and out, totally down and out. And she completely turned it around. Completely turned it around. If you lose hope, you've just lost, like, you've lost the game. You've lost the game of life if you lose hope. And so even if you fail an exam and even if you fail out of a term, my friend, you can still keep going. It doesn't matter. Like, keep that hope up and you can just keep going one thing at a time. One foot in front of the other. Now, number two. This is good.
Okay.
You'll never regret having kids before you're ready. Do you regret having kids before we were ready?
Definitely not.
Because they're awesome.
I mean, they are pretty cool.
You will never regret having kids before you're ready.
They are a lot, but they are cool.
I. They just make everything better. Kids just make everything better.
I think some people will always have that. I'm never going to be ready. And until this, this, this happens and.
Then I was just talking to someone about that just a few times.
Just doesn't stop. So you know what?
Yeah.
Sometimes you just gotta jump in the water.
If you are able do it. It's the best second to that. This is number three. You will never regret having lots of kids. We're on to five. How many more can we go? Please, Lord, please. They're just so great. Like at 3 or 4, especially 4, they really, like, they start taking care of themselves.
Well, yeah, they start taking care of themselves. It is built in friends.
Built in friends.
There are a lot of benefits to that.
They don't need you all the time. They're not asking you questions all the time because they have other Little buddies supposed to play around with. Like, if you stop it, too, you are literally stopping at the hardest part. That is so hard, because then if they're fighting or if something's going on, then you have to, like, work it out. There's only two of them, you know, but if there's a whole gaggle of them that I have found, I. I really do think then it just goes.
Back to voting, and whoever the majority.
Wins, they're more likely to work it out together. It's so great, you guys. It's so great because they. Yeah. I mean, it's just. It gets easier with every single one. And in some ways, it gets harder with every single one, but it's okay.
Yeah.
It's worth it.
Yeah. And so at 5, now we are official. Like, officially official. Like, is this officially. We are officially a big family, a.
Large family at what?
Yeah. How many kids is it large? Cause.
Oh, tell me, please.
We have had discussions about this.
Tell me in the comments, because we have gone back and forth on this. Like, is it three? Is it four? But definitely five, right? Definitely five. That puts us in my.
If we say we're a large family, would anyone disagree with us? I guess that's my main question. It's like, no, you're not there yet. And I'd like to disagree with that. But if you think 5 is still a small family, let me know.
And how many would be considered big?
Yeah.
Now, this is number four. Start before you're ready. Don't wait till Monday. This could go in with the kids. Think.
Wait. Yeah. Is that anything else? Is that about the kids? Start on Monday?
It actually wasn't, but it dovetails pretty well. No, like, just start before. What did I write? So start before you're ready. It doesn't have to be Monday. It doesn't have to be January 1st. Just do the thing that you're either scared to do or don't want to do. Like whenever. Start whenever. And start before you're ready because you're never going to be ready. That's just the principle. That is a principle.
Yeah, I can say. I can see that.
Yeah. For real, number five, 80% and done is better than 100% and not.
I think this also does tell with the other one.
Yeah.
Starting before you're ready, because a lot of that speaking from the expert here, professional procrastinator slash imposter syndrome, whatever do you have.
You have the. The. The plaque.
I have a certificate and all of that. I put the pro in procrastination. Dad. Jokes. Yeah, it kind of goes into that because a part of not starting is because you don't think it's going to be good enough or they don't think it's going to be perfect. So, yeah, this number five helps out.
With that 80% done. Done so, so often. I mean, even in the stuff that we write. Like, I did get straight A's in nursing school, but here's the thing. You don't have to get straight A's to pass, but I feel like a lot of nursing students go into nursing school saying, I'm gonna be the straight A student. I'm gonna get perfect scores on all these things. You guys, I literally failed every single skills check off that I did in nursing school. Every single one. Failed it the first time, took it either a second time or even a third time because I stink at skills, stunk at the skills in nursing school. But we're still here. I'm still a nurse even though I failed every single skills check off in nursing school.
And I guess that's another thing that we see coming across the inbox, too, is that maybe a little discouragement or something from students that are just joining nursing school. Right. And they were 4.0 students and they were. They were going in with the. The level of expectation is here. And suddenly so discouraged that, oh, no, I only got a B. Yes, you're passing. That's great.
I literally, I was talking to a student just maybe like a month or two ago, because she's in the. We were texting and shout out to you, and it was literally like, if this is you, you know who you are. She was literally like, christina, I got a 85%, like, girlfriend, girlfriend. You're a rock star. Like, that is awesome. If you have. Are you. If you are passing nursing school, like, you are doing the thing, man, that's the goal. Straight A's is not the goal. Perfection is not the goal. Passing.
And that's really it. Perfection is not the goal.
Yeah.
So, yeah, start before you're ready and don't worry that you might not reach that perfection. 80% is. Is great. Yep. 80 and what? 80 and done is better than what.
Percent and not done.
What's the alternative? Is that like, yeah, you do get it done and it just kind of lingers or you just don't do it or you just quit.
It's not like analysis paralysis. It's like, I'm not going to study for this next exam because I think I'm going to fail. How many times have you thought that Like, I'm not going to study for this next exam because you're worried about failing. Totally. It happens. It happens to me. It happens to so many students I've talked to. It's a thing. So 80% and done is better than 100% and not now. Number six. A walk won't fix everything, but it will fix a lot. I really like walking. I think that there is a thing. Okay, we're not, like, super exercisers, but we do walk and our kids bike, and it's just great. So a walk won't fix everything, but it will fix a lot. If you're feeling stressed about nursing school, if you're like, you know, just there's a lot going on and you're feeling overwhelmed and just. There's just too much to study and all that, go outside. Like, go for a walk.
We can generalize it a little bit more, but it's just kind of that taking the step back and kind of coming at it at a different angle or just. Yeah, take a walk or just. What can you do to decompress? And that's what we do, is we walk.
Number seven, you don't need to take a ride on someone else's guilt trip. Thank you, Dave Ramsey. Seriously, I think this phrase is so funny. Don't take a ride on someone else's guilt trip. Like, if someone's trying to guilt you or manipulate you or make you want to, like, patience. Come on. Or like, other. Oh, my goodness, you guys, like, nurses, your co nurses on the floor, or even instructors. I've heard this happening to you or happening with, like, two nursing students. Do not take a ride on someone else's guilt trip. If someone's trying to make you feel bad or, like, manipulate you in some way. Like, you don't need to buy a ticket for that train. Don't do it.
That's funny.
Principles will live by yourself. Thank you, Dave Ramsey. Number eight. Gossip will destroy your relationships and your character. Again, this is highly, highly nursing school specific. Not really specific, because this is just a life thing. This is biblical wisdom. But really, gossip will destroy your relationships. It will destroy the unity of your team, like on a nursing floor. It'll destroy your relationships with your friends at school. It will just destroy everything around you and your character. It will erode your character as well. Put the good things out but the bad things up. So if you have a problem with a co worker or someone at your nursing program or something, go up with that information. Go up the chain of command. So you go to your nursing Instructor. If it's. If the conflict isn't with your nursing instructor, go to your nursing instructor. Go to whoever, like, the department head is or, like, even the dean of the nursing program. Like, you go up the ladder, and then when you're, you know, when you're working on the floor as a nurse, same thing. Go up the chain of command for things that are negative, but for things that are good, positive. Share that around. You want to encourage other people. Number nine. Sometimes the thing that scares you has the biggest roi. So the things that scare you, the things that you're afraid of doing, those have the biggest payoff in your life oftentimes. So, like, hey, nursing school. Like, how scared were you to start nursing school?
Come on.
Like, so scared. Like, how scared are you to take your next examination? So scared. Right? Like, I know I was. But those things have the biggest payoff. Number 10.
10.
Don't bet your money on another man's game. So this is actually from father in Farmer Boy from Laura Ingalls Wilder.
We're learning so much from homeschool.
Yes. We're learning so much from our third grade homeschool. Because I'm in third grade. Yes. Don't bet your money on another man's game. So if you. Basically, I think the principle is here. Like, if you don't control it, then you just don't control the outcome. So I don't want to, like, do something that is going to play into someone else's game that's not gonna be of, like, a benefit if that's just, like, I don't know, obviously, like, what Farmer Boy is talking about in Laura Ingalls Wilder. In the book, it was gambling or, like, what's the game called? It's like betting. Not really. Yeah, it was like, betting on. They were betting on something. And so obviously you don't want to do that because it's just. It's. You don't control it. So why would you do that? Number 11. Pride destroys everything it touches. 100%. It does. It's a really good thing to be introspective and to realize it, recognize when you're being prideful, when you're being arrogant or whatever, because it really will just erode everything around you, because similar to gossip, too, it just. It just destroys everything. Number 12. Failure is a launch pad. And we talked about this a little bit earlier with, like, failing an exam or failing even a term in nursing school, because if you fail a term, it is not the end. That could be a launch pad if you let it. If you let it.
I guess that's. That's the main thing is what do you do with that failure again.
Yeah.
Pro and procrastination imposter syndrome and failure, too. Well, I'm actually not an expert at. Because I'm so against it. Like, I don't like that you don't like failure. I need to grow in that, definitely.
Yeah.
So I do need to use it as a launchpad. This is something that you've Learned in your 35 years, and I still have not.
So I am so good at failure. Like, fail fast. Like, I am so, like, honestly, I think that that's really a gift that God has given me is like, I'm just gonna do it, man. I'm gonna go for it. Let's do it, and let's fail massively in front of everyone, and it'll be great.
Definitely something I am still learning. But, yeah, fail forward. Use that failure.
Yes.
As a launch pad. I like it. Yeah.
Failure is a launch pad. So if you bomb an exam in nursing school, like, brush it off, keep going. If you. Here's the thing. If you quit, that's the real failure. Because then you're. You're done. Like, this is over. All right, number 13.
13.
Be honest with yourself. Self deception will take you out. Out.
Yeah.
For real. Like, self deception, not a good thing. Now number 14. Get a little better. Consistently is better than a short burst. Now, this is something that I had to learn. I'm very much a. I want to do so much in a short amount of time. And, like, I have these, you know, big, like, big things that I want to do and, like, very goal oriented. Very goal oriented.
Yes. Yes, she is.
Yes, I am. And so I. I have learned over time, like, consistency is better and you are the more, like, stable one in that.
I try.
I try to be very stable. Very consistent. And I'm like, hey, let's do this. Like, I'm like, the. Like, I bring the energy.
So.
But it's better to be consistent. Like, consistent over time.
One percent better every day.
Yes. And that's actually. I've been talking about the Atomic Habits book by James Clear a lot in our emails and on Instagram. And that book is so great. One of the quotes that I love from that book is that you don't rise to the level of your goals, but you fall to the level of your systems. And so that, like, consistency and the systems that you have is just so, so key to how far you're going to go in life. Like, if you're going to pass nursing school, you need a system. Like you need a plan. I mean, that's why we teach it so much in the nmc, the nursing SOS membership community. We have a whole study system, we've got a whole dose calc system. If you struggle with dose calculator, we've got a step by step system for you to follow to pass your exams. Like it's literally like already there for you. Pharmacology, we've got our pharmacology system, we've got all these things because systems work. So when you have a solid study plan and a solid study system that works, that's the key. That is the key to passing nursing school. It's the key to passing life. Number 15, guard your heart against joy suckers.
Joy suckers. Like vampires.
That's what I read. Joy suckers and know them. Right? Like we all know joy suckers. Guard your heart against those people. Not fun to be around. 16, make a budget and follow it.
Okay, that's bound to be in here. There you go.
Number 16, make a budget and follow it. Principle to live by. Number 17, find a Bible believing church and actively participate. Like I said, these are not in order of anything, not in order of importance, but if they were, this one would be at the top. Number 18, taking ownership of your actions is one of the best things you can do for yourself and your relationships. Taking ownership of your actions is so, so important. And even like I remember in nursing school when there were things that happens, like there's drama in nursing school all the time. Right? There is. There's just drama in life sometimes. Taking ownership for your part in that is so important. People trust you more when you take ownership for yourself stuff. The person that you can't trust is the one who's always like, no, that wasn't me. Take ownership of your actions. You'll go far in life. Number 19, God is the only perfect parent. Back to the kids one. Yeah. If you. Oh, I got this from Michelle Myers from she Works his way. So great. Love her. Love that podcast. God is the only perfect parent. Like with parenting, like, I mean, talk about a gross sanctification journey.
Our children will definitely tell us that.
Oh yeah, for sure. For real. Which is part of the beauty of life. I think that that's pretty great. Number 20, find good friends. You will become like them.
Your five closest friends are.
Your five closest friends are like seven or three or ten or your top eight.
12.
Like Jesus, I don't know.
Shout out to MySpace. You become who you hang out with, I guess, is the overarching principle. Right? So make sure who you're hanging out with is who you want to be.
Like, yep, isn't that great? And, well, like I said, like reading the Bible, being part of a Bible believing church, that's so important because we all want to be like Jesus. That's the point. So make Jesus your best friend. Oh, 21. You'll like this one.
Okay.
Hold things with an open hand, but then they'll fall. Hold things with an open hand. I think this is probably one of the biggest ones that I've struggled with because I just like, oh, we were just talking about, like, goals. Like, I'm very goal oriented and I'm just very, like, action oriented and very energetic. And so I have a hard time when I can't do something. So being able to hold something with an open hand of like, maybe I'll do that, maybe I won't. That's not really in my personality. So that's really something that I've had to grow in is like just saying, all right, Lord, here's what I've got.
Yeah, definitely. Something I'm growing into is again, it kind of goes back to the fear of failure or. Or starting before you're ready or something like that. An aspect of that is that you're not getting going or you're fearing that failure, not using failure as a launchpad because you're afraid of what is going to happen. So what is that? That's you holding tight onto. Onto those things. So, yeah, I think definitely learning to hold things with an open hand and do the best you can.
And if I pass nursing school, it's great. If I don't pass nursing school, it's great. I'm going to keep trying and keep trying, like, if I don't pass this exam, like holding it with an open hand, saying, like, I'm gonna do my best and that's what I can do. 23. This is great. An old car you own is better than a newer one with car payments.
Okay, I have a feeling I know where that one came from too.
You don't know. We are very much Dave Ramsey people. And so we actually have never had a car payment. And that is not something that our favorite.
We've also never had a new car, so. Hey.
Also never had a new car. New car. Oh, my goodness. Yeah, our cars are, like, pretty much junk, but they're great. No payments. So it.
Cars are older than your old pacemaker, so. Hey, they are.
That's so What a fun comparison.
Yeah.
And they're so great for kids because, like, honestly, if you have a big family, like, because we're in the large family camp now.
Yes, we are.
And it's like the car seats and the goldfish crackers and all the things like, come on, you're going to trash, like a brand new car with car seats and goldfish crackers. No. 23. I love this one. Interact with the Bible every day. Now, this actually kind of goes into the, like, perfection thing that you were talking earlier. I feel like a lot of people get caught up with the I want to read the Bible in a year, which is great. Like, do that if you can. But in nursing school, oftentimes you've got, like, so much. It's not just nursing school. You've got life on top of it. Like, you've got your, your house to take care of, you've got your family to take care of, you've got kids to take care of. If you have kids, like, you've got all of these things on top of nursing school, sometimes it can be just unwise to add a whole bunch of other goals on top of that. Like, we're folk, we're trying to focus on one thing at a time, right? So nursing school, that's your big thing. So what I really recommend, what I started doing was just interacting with the Bible every day. You don't have to read the Bible in a year. Like, you don't have to do three chapters a day in order to do that, but interact with the Bible in some way, shape or form every day. I think that that is a very, very good principle. So, like, just open it up, read a verse or two and, like, let that sink in. So interact with the Bible every day. Interact with God every day. Like, he's a personal God. He loves you. That's what, like, that's what's going to move you forward. Right. Is like that relationship. But interacting with the Bible, even just a little bit every single day, kind of goes back to our consistency thing and, like, a little bit consistently is better than I'm gonna read like the whole book of Romans in a weekend and never think about it again for three months. It's better if you just do it, like, consistent, consistently.
Yeah.
And so that's something you're so good at is not having buckets. Like, this is like, God is everything.
Well, that's something we're teaching well, our family in general and the kids definitely is that. Like, it's not buckets. Like, this is your Life. And so how are you going to lead your life? So.
Yep. And so the Bible, every day, that's how it is. Number 24, make huge batches of food.
Big family is kind of out of necessity nowadays in nursing school, too. It's getting the systems together. Right. And maybe it is good to do some meal prepping or meal planning. Fancy terms. But. Yeah.
Doesn't have to be Pinterest.
It doesn't need to be perfect. You're going to eat it anyway. Yeah. That might be a way that you can save time or stress or whatever is make big batches of food so.
You'Re not cooking all the time. Because you can't be cooking all the time.
Yeah.
Yeah. You've got too much to do in nursing school now. Number 25, kids are more capable than you realize.
Yeah. I remember talking about this one with you.
Yeah, I totally think that we've, we've learned that over the course of having now kids of varying ages, they're so much more capable than we thought they were.
So, like pushing them and stretch that, stretch that muscle, they. They need that, they need to, they need to practice that so they can get better at those things too.
Yes. For sure. And dovetail to that. You're more capable than you realize. So it's not just kids. It's like, you are more capable in nursing school than you think you are. So if you don't think you can pass an exam or if you don't think you can pass a term, you absolutely can, my friend. You are so, so, so, so much more capable than you think you are now. Number 26, don't take things so seriously. Kind of goes with like the open hand one.
Yeah.
It's like, don't take things so seriously. It's not a big deal. Like, let it roll off and like, okay, we didn't do as well on an exam as we want or a care plan or an assignment or whatever or anything in life. Like, if you just didn't do something or like, you know, if someone's, you know, like, I don't know, not being super nice, just like, let it go. Like, don't take things so seriously.
It's not a big deal. I think that goes, like, again with my fear of failure or the starting before you're ready. I think I find myself saying that.
Is like, it's not a big deal.
It's not a big deal. Just saying it to myself. It's like. And like thinking through and a lot of the time it's really not that.
No it's not a big deal.
Not a big deal. Definitely hyping it up in my mind a lot.
Yeah. Number 27. Very practical. Drink more water. Be healthy.
There's water in my coffee. Does that count?
Drink more water. I like coffee. We drink coffee all the time. Yeah, we talk about this.
Definitely don't drink enough water. So, yeah, yeah, be healthy, be happy.
Number 28. Shopping in bulk will save you a ton of time and money, and especially if you have a lot of kids.
Yes. So this goes back to big family, big everything. That means big Costco visits. So that's fun. But, yeah, definitely. Yeah. Shopping in bulk. Now, what did you say about this budgeting, too?
Yeah.
So that you can do that. Because, yes, you do save a lot of money as long as you're budgeting and doing it the right way and.
Yes, for sure. Yeah, yeah. Buying in bulk. Number 29. This is so, so applicable. Work varying shifts so you can see the other side.
Yeah.
So, like, if you're working day shift, then working night shift every so often. If you're working night shift, work a day shift so often. Because what we see is, like, there's so much animosity sometimes between the two shifts or, like, even sweet shift. It's like they just. The night shifts will be like, why did day shift do this? And day shift will be like, why did night shift do this? And it's like, come on, guys. Like, we don't want to do that. So I like working varying shifts so you can see other people's perspectives. Like, this also kind of goes on, like, walk a mile in their shoes.
Yeah, I was just thinking that. Walk a mile in someone else's shoes.
Yeah.
So you know what it feels like and kind of understand where they're coming from too.
Yes. Understand where they're coming from and be. Lol. We're gonna be compassionate. We're gonna be empathetic about that.
Now, another related note is in nursing school, when you're in clinicals or when you're being placed, just be open with where you're being placed and try all these different shifts, all these different positions, because you don't know what you don't know. And maybe you'll fall into a position that you really love, and you don't know that until you try. So be joyful about it and just go with the flow.
Absolutely. Like, open hand, like I talked about. Right. Don't take it so seriously and just like, try new things. Oh, try new things.
Try new things.
I don't think I wrote that on the list? That's a bonus. Try new things. All right, number 30 is pray every day now. Kind of like we talked about. Interact with the Bible every day. But this goes to what you were saying. Like, we don't have buckets. Like, sure. God is just a part of our life that is the foundation of how we build our life. And so praying every day, talking to God all the time like that is.
He's a personal God, like we've been saying. So just talk to him like he's just there because he is. And you love pray without ceasing.
Number 31. Burning it down and starting over is way harder than the work it takes to just keep going. So how often do we hear from nursing students that are like, I failed an exam. I quit. I'm done. I'm out of here. Yeah, don't do that.
Just reset. Breaking point. And you just want to burn it all down.
Yeah. Take a breath and, like, keep going. Because it's going to take so much more work to start over. Like a dental hygiene program or. I. What I hear, what I hear. What do I hear? Dental hygiene. I hear EMT a lot. Like, I'm just gonna go to social work. So a lot of nursing students leave nursing school and go do social work. It's gonna be so much harder. So unless you really feel called out of nursing school, just keep going. You can do it. You can do it. Number 32, complaining, victim, mindset and entitlement don't look good on me. They don't look good on anybody.
They don't look good on you.
Don't look good on me. Yeah, don't look good on anyone. Okay. Complaining victim, mindset and entitlement. No, no, no, no, no. We don't do that around here. Number 33, being offended doesn't serve you. Ooh, for real? Like, how much do we see this in nursing school and just life in general? Like, I cannot tell you how many times in nursing school I had it happen. Other students had it happen where, like, there's an instructor who's mean, pants train, not super nice, or there's a nurse on the floor who's not super nice. There's, like, it just happens. Like, that's life. Right. But we don't need to take that personally. Kind of goes back to the not a big deal. Not a big deal. Not taking things so seriously. Like, can we all just get along and laugh about it? That's my personality. Can we all just get along and just laugh about it? Come on.
You can control Your emotions.
Yeah, yeah. There's another bonus. You control your motions. Love it. 34. Create systems that sustain you.
Okay, that goes a lot about that. A lot into our other one about creating systems that work for you.
Yeah.
You don't have to. Once you set it up once, then they just work for you.
They just keep going. So in nursing school, like, that really does bring down your mental load. If you have a planner that works. If you had. Like we talked about, if. If you have a planner that works. If you have our nursing school study system, our dose calc system, our pharmacology system, like, all the systems that. That we have, those are going to go such a long way to helping you actually, like, pass without all that crazy mental and emotional overload. Yeah. Because that's just what happens in nursing school. Like, systems are going to be what drives you through nursing school and keeps you from going insane.
It's crazy. How much is working in the background in your head.
Oh, yeah. 100%.
Yeah. Yeah. If you can get that down, you'll. You'll feel it. You'll feel an immediate difference for sure.
Especially if you're female. Like, I don't know about, like, turn, turn, turn, turn, turn. It feels like I have just a waffle brain. They say. They say holes in women are spaghetti. Is that what that is? So it's like spaghetti all up in here. It for sure is. That is totally on point and how it feels so often. All right, number 35, figure out what you want and work backwards.
Ending with a banger.
Banger. So, so important. Because you want to start with, like, where you're going. If you're just, like, going along and not really sure that's not intentional. Right. Like, we want to intentionally be going for something. So you're going to past nursing school. Right. That's where you're going. You want to pass nursing school. You want to be a nurse, so that's where you're going now. What is it going to take in order to get there? What Dave Ramsey says is what needs to be true. Like, what needs to be true in order to get there. That's not true now. Like, I want to get here. So what needs to be true then, that's not true now. And that's what I need to make happen. So, so important.
Begin with the end in mind. So always have a goal to strive for.
Yes.
Okay. Makes sense to me.

Which one?
Which one? Tell me. And I do want to link to that video right there. You want a point about NCLEX questions and how to pass them. So, so, so great. As you're going through this term in nursing school, you've got to make sure that you have a really, really solid strategy down for answering NCLEX style questions. So click on that video and I'll walk you through that. And you know how we end our channel, babe? And as always, my friend, go become the nurse that God created only you to be. And I will see you over there in that next video.
Take care of the.
