All right, let's go over how to pass your doscalc exam for nursing school. So you'll always follow this dimensional analysis set up here. Order, have and need. So follow these six easy steps. So the first step is to figure out what the question is asking. What do you need to end up with at the end? Do you need milligrams? Do you need grams? Do you need milliliters? What is the question asking you? So you'll write that over here. Actually realize this need should actually be over here. So please note that just write the unit that you need to end up with right there. Then step two is to figure out what the prescriber ordered. What does the prescription say? So you'll write that right over here on the left side. Then step number two is what conversions do you have or need to use? Then the conversions that you need to use will go right here in the middle so that you can get the correct answer. Then solve the problem. All you have to do is multiply across the top, multiply across the bottom, divide those two numbers, and then the last two steps, step five and six are just write the answer appropriately, follow the correct rounding rules, then check your answer by doing the process.
