How did I get straight A's in nursing school while also taking every single Saturday off? I'm gonna tell you how I did it in this video and don't miss the last tip because it seriously will be game changing for you. It could change everything. Let's go. There is so much drama around nursing school when you get accepted, right? If you've had this experience where everyone tells you that it's so hard and it's impossible and nobody passes this class and this instructor's so hard and all of these things, things, right? You hear it all of the time. But here's the thing. I was able to get straight A's in nursing school while also taking every single Saturday off. It is possible, my friend. Our nursing SOS members do it all the time. We walk you through how to take a day off in nursing school. But there are some really important study strategies that you must follow in order to make that happen. The first one is to make sure that you are focusing your study time on the things that are actually important, the things that you actually have to know. You cannot be wasting your study time on things that don't matter or the things that you're not going to be tested on, right? And this is where a lot of nursing students just get stuck. You want to know everything about everything about everything, and it's just not possible. That will really hold you back in nursing school. You are not going to have a ton of free time, a ton of personal time, a ton of time to rest or take breaks if you are trying to know everything. So you have to constrain what you are studying to the things that are the most important things for you to know. Now if you're a nursing SS member, you know that we do this for you and so the nursing SOS membership community. So when you log into your dashboard, you'll see all the videos there where we walk you through, step by step, exactly what you have to know for your nursing school exams to pass. No arrhenius information in there. Nothing. That's like super difficult for you to understand or to know because we walk you through it step by step. We break it all down super easy. So check that out in your dashboard. That's the best way to constrain your information and your study time because we literally walk you through exactly what you need to know and nothing else. It's pretty fantastic. Now if you're not a nursing SOS member, here's what I recommend. Focus on studying the things that your instructors talk about in class. I know, it's tough to do. I get a ton of pushback every time I talk to nursing students about this because it's so like foreign, right? When you get accepted into nursing school, everyone tells you to read everything in the textbook. But like we said, my friend, that is not going to work. You cannot know everything in all of your textbooks. There's just too much. It can be overwhelming. You have to constrain your study time to the most important things that you have to know. And that is by and large, what you are learning about in class. Now, the second thing that so many nursing students miss that you absolutely cannot miss, my friend, if you want to pass your exams, is critical thinking and applying the information that you are learning about. Most nursing students when you're studying, you just end up memorizing a whole bunch of information or trying to learn things and commit it all to memory without actually taking that next step and applying it and critically thinking about it. And this is a huge problem, problem, because your nursing school exams, right, you're going to get a ton of priority questions, a ton of SATA questions, a ton of case scenario questions, and patient scenarios and situations. Those are all critical thinking questions. So if you just memorize a ton of things from the textbook, not going to help you, right? You have to take that next step and critically think about it and apply the information that you are learning about. You have to be able to apply it to a case scenario, a SATA question, a patient priority question, a patient situation. That is all critical thinking. That's what your exams are going to test you on. So to help you do this really, really well, I have a fantastic critical thinking cheat sheet for you. Totally free. I'll put the link down below in the description for you to snag it. In that cheat sheet, I walk you through the two parts of critical thinking that you have to know. And this is super cool. I give you nine key critical thinking questions to ask as you study. That's really going to help you critically think through what you're learning and be able to apply the information to your exams. It is so fantastic. You don't want to miss that one. So the link is down below in the description for you to snag it. Now, the third thing that is so important, and I really do not want you to miss it, like this has been such a huge part of everything that I was able to do in nursing school, everything that I'm able to do now, like how to stay productive, how to stay efficient, all comes down to this next Tip that I'm going to share with you. It is completely game changing and that is to make sure that you are keeping your energy and your dedication and your motivation up. It sounds crazy, but I am telling you, my friend, you have to be so protective of how you are feeling, how much energy you have so that you can keep going. It is so easy to get overwhelmed and stressed and anxious and burned out in nursing school and from that place of burnout and stress and anxiety. It, it is so hard to study, like near impossible to actually be productive and efficient when you are coming from that place. So it's so important that you are protecting how you're feeling. It sounds crazy, but protecting how much energy you have in order so that you can stay productive and efficient when you're studying. Because if you are excited and if you're, if you're creating that feeling of productivity and kind of that space in your mind, you're not thinking about other things, you're not indulging in anxiety or worry, that is such a better place, more freeing place to study from and be more productive rather than when you're just distracted and scrolling through Instagram because you don't want to study and you're feeling burned out and unmotivated. It's very, very hard to study when you're coming from that place. So you really have to protect your energy level in nursing school. You have to make sure you're getting enough sleep, make sure that you are eating well and staying healthy and going for a walk. If you need to go for a walk, like take a break when you need to take a break, don't hit burnout, okay? You have to make sure that you are being protective of really your energy level in nursing school because you, I mean, nursing school is a marathon, right? Like you have to keep going. There is really no like stopping point or break. I mean, unless you take like Christmas break or spring vacation, right? Or summer vacation. But even in those times, you're probably still studying, right? So it's really, you've got to have endurance through it, right? So you have to be really protective of your energy level and how you're feeling feelings so that you can study more productively and more efficiently when you do that. Here's the key. When you do that, when you are able to study efficiently and study productively, you are able to condense your study time down and study for less time so that you can take time off. It's pretty amazing. But the problem is most nursing students don't do this. Most nursing students just stay stuck and worry and overwhelm and anxiety and all of the distractions that come along with nursing school and life, right? That is not helpful for you if you want to take a break. If you want to take a day off, just like I did in nursing school, you have to focus when you are studying. You cannot be indulging in anxiety and worry and distractions when you are supposed to be studying. It will not work. And passing your exams is a huge part of what you are going to do in nursing school, right? You have to make sure you're studying efficiently and passing your exam. So check out this video where I give you some seriously powerful hacks to pass your exams in nursing school and go become the nurse that God created only you to be. And I'll see you over there in that next video.
