Hello. Hello, Christina here with nursingschoolofsuccess.com and today in this video, I'm going to walk through some FAQs, some frequently asked questions about the Nursing SOS membership community. So I have been getting questions all week from students asking about the nursing SOS membership community. So basically what it is, if you haven't heard about it before, this is our subscription subscription, our paid community of amazing, awesome nursing students, RN students who are currently in nursing school who want to be the best nurses they can be and just need some help getting through school. So it's packed with a whole bunch of videos and cheat sheets and study guides and resources for you to help make nursing school easier. So really, the two things that it will do for you is to help you raise your grades you and save you time in nursing school. That's what it's all about. So everything that I've packed in there is going to help you raise your grades and save time. So I wanted to jump on here on YouTube live and kind of answer some of the questions that I've been getting this week from nursing students, all about our membership community. So I hope that this video is helpful for you. If you're kind of on the fence, I hope that it kind of helps you decide either way if it's great for you, if it's the right decision or the right fit for you, amazing. If you decide that it's not, no big deal, I want you to be able to make that decision for yourself. Of course, it's not going to be for everyone. So that's what I hope you'll get out of this today. So the first question that I'm going to dive into is what is exactly inside? What do I get in the nursing SOS membership community community? So, great question, of course, what do you get? So the biggest thing is med surg training videos. So it's packed with med surg disorder videos. So I basically walk through what I always say, the five key components of a med Surg disorder. So when you're setting med surg, you're going to focus on five key things and that is pathophysiology, signs and symptoms, nursing assessment, nursing interventions, and patient education. So that's how I have it broken down inside the membership community for you. So all the disorders that we've gotten there all come with those things. So pathophysiology, signs and symptoms, nursing assessment, nursing interventions, and patient education. So I cover those things inside the membership community for you. Now, of course, you'll also get, we've got a care plan course. I've got a whole database of plug and play care plans for you as well. Our students have had so many, so much success. But this is pretty amazing because I literally have care plans written in there for you. So all you have to do is adapt it to your specific patient. So you just go in, you log in and find the care plan that matches the disorder or matches the kind of nursing diagnosis that you're working with or, you know, that fits your patient the best. And then you kind of customize it to your specific patient based on their needs. But it's nice because it gives you kind of an outline of what you can do, like patient goals, example patient goals, and nursing interventions and all of that. So it's literally like plug and play care plans for you, which is super duper handy, because as we all know, it takes super. You know, especially in the beginning, it takes a long, long time to write nursing care plans. So there's a really great resource, especially if you're just starting out and are kind of not so comfortable with the care plans yet. And of course, like I said, we have the care plan course in there as well. So I walk you through how to write nursing school care plans. Now, along with those things, I've also got a pharmacology course for you. So that's amazing. My best pharmacology tips to help you study pharmacology quicker, you know, study faster, learn it easier, learn it faster. Because that's what we're all about, is helping you learn it quicker and easier. And what more can you ask for? Pharmacology, really? So they're kind of like maybe the base things that we've got in there. And of course, we have our bonus Facebook group. So this is fantastic, because you get direct access to me. So I'm in there every single day. I jump in there all the time. So basically, if anybody asks a question inside that group, I answer, and so do other students. So it's such a great resource to have if you're stressed out, if you have just a question on a topic or whatever, or need help with something, you know that you're gonna get an answer from me directly. Like, this is the best way to get direct access to me. I love that Facebook group. I do Facebook lives in that group. I do live Q and A. So if you have a question, you know that I'm going to answer it. And of course, we've got tons of other students in there too, so they're there for you. As well. It's really, really great supportive community. That's what we're all about. So that is kind of the basis of what's all in there. Of course we have other things like test taking, strategy videos to help you ace your exams. Got the study success course, the time management mastery course in there. Like we've got just a ton of stuff. So it will be super helpful for you if you are struggling in nursing school. So everything in there is really tailor made specifically for RN students to help you raise your grades and save time in nursing school. That's what we're all about. So another question that I get all the time is what is the difference between this and our YouTube channel? So this is a fantastic question and it didn't come up much before because we never really had a YouTube channel before. Our YouTube channel is fairly new in the past few months. So this is kind of a new question. So it has a really, really easy answer because none of the videos are the same. Like literally none of the videos are exactly the same and I don't think they will ever be the same. So inside the membership community I go deeper into the concepts. It's more comprehensive, I use more visuals, I, you know, I give more examples. So the videos inside of the membership community are a lot more comprehensive. The videos up here on YouTube are more, you know, I do talk about pathophysiology and things, but inside the membership community I really go deeper into those concepts. I talk about different definitions of pathophysiology and things. In the video I really just dive deeper. And so here on YouTube it's kind of more higher level, you know, kind of like bullet point things like tips and tricks and things. Whereas the nursing SOS membership community is really step by step, like here is exactly what you need to know for all the things you need to know. Does that make sense? So I hope that clarifies that, that literally none of the videos are the same, which is actually pretty great because if you are a nursing SOS member, you get both, right? So you get access to the whole membership community and you also get access to the YouTube channel. So if you want you can watch both. So it's a pretty great resource. If you are a nursing SOS member, you have access to both. So that is the simple answer to that. None of the videos are the same. So I hope that clarifies it for you. Now another question that I get is, is this for me? And depends on your situation. Of course there are situations where the nursing SOS membership community is not in a good fit for you. And really those top reasons are if you are in an LPN or an LVN program, if you are studying to take your NCLEX exam or kind of on your way out of nursing school and if you're totally just rocking nursing school. So those are really kind of the three times that I tell people, do not join. So for LPNs or LVNs, really I, my training is RN training. I went to, you know, I went to school to become an rn. I've never been in an LPN program before. So I'm really just not comfortable teaching you something that I'm not 1000% confident in. Obviously I love nursing and I love teaching RN students. This is what I'm good at. So I, I just can't in good conscience, you know, teach, teach for an LPN or LVN program since I haven't been through, you see what I'm saying? So it's nothing, of course, nothing against LPNs or LVNs at all. It's just, I'm not comfortable. I don't want to steer you the wrong way or teach you something that doesn't apply to you and waste your time. You know, it's just, it's not made specifically for you. This community is really specifically made for RN students going through nursing school. Now that comes to another category of students that this is not a good fit for. So the nursing SOS membership community is not a good fit if you are studying for your NCLEX already. So if you are studying for your NCLEX or you're kind of on your way out of your nursing program, that this is not really the place for you. And here's the reason why. So when I started nursing school, I really wanted something like this that was specifically tailored to nursing students, to RN students who are actually in their program. Obviously there are, there are a ton of NCLEX programs out there. Tons, loads and loads and loads. But I could not find one that was specifically geared toward nursing students, students that are actually still in their program. So what I had found was that a lot of the other NCLEX prep programs or, or programs that, you know, that got you ready to take your nclex. They had a lot more information that I didn't need to know about when I was in nursing school or that my professors covered or you know, things like that they had. And also I would also find that a lot of the books would do like more high level stuff. You see what I'm saying? So when you break Open an nclex book, sometimes they're like more bullet points. You know, this is what you, this is what you got to know. Kind of like the summary. It's a summary. So a lot of those books are like kind of a summary of everything that you learned in nursing school. And here's just kind of the general overview. But no, that's not what I wanted when I was in nursing school. When I was in the middle of it, in the thick of it, I wanted to go to lecture and then come home and watch a video teaching me about what I learned in lecture. See what I'm saying? Because in lecture I often found myself getting super confused not knowing what was going on and just wanting that extra help to understand the concepts. So it would have been so much easier if something like that existed when I went through nursing school because I wish I could just come home, like go to lecture, come home and watch a video on it from someone that I trusted that would teach it to me step by step. So that is exactly why I created this program, is because I wish that this existed when I was in nursing school. This is not a high level overview summary of nursing school NCLEX prep program. No, no, no, no, no. This is really deep down, literally step by step. Here's the pathophysiology, here's the signs and symptoms, here's the nursing assessment and the nursing interventions that you need to do for your patient with all these disorders. You know, this is literally like a deep dive into the concepts that you need to know about for nursing school. So this is exactly what I wish I had when I was going through nursing school. So I hope it helps you too. That's exactly what I'm here for, to help you raise your grades and save time in nursing school. So that's why, you know, if you are studying to take your nclex or if you're like kind of on the end, kind of on the end stretch of your program like your last term or something, probably not the best for you just because you're headed to take your nclex, you see what I'm saying? So that is just not a super good fit if you are studying to take your nclex. Now another category of students that may be not a good fit for is if you're totally rocking nursing school, girlfriend, if you have got it down, if you have a super good study strategy and flow going, don't join. I mean, I don't need to walk you through and hold your hand. If you don't need it if you do want the extra help, if you do want me to break things down step by step for you, then this is a great program for you. But if you have such a good flow going, if you come home, you feel confident, you're not stressed out at all, then it's probably not a good fit for you. I don't want you to waste your money on something that is not going to be helpful. Because if you've already got all this stuff down, then you don't need me. You just keep doing what you're doing and no big deal. I hope that those kind of three categories help. So if you are totally rocking nursing school, if you are studying to take your nclex, or if you're in an LPN or LVN program, those are kind of the three big categories that I see people ask me about if, if they should join or not. And my answer to those is no, so you shouldn't join. And I also actually just this morning, I'll mention another one. I did get an email from a student this morning asking about. So asking they were just starting their nursing program or just going to start their nursing program. I think. What did she say? I think she said so the next term, I think probably in January or February. So in this case, what I used to tell students is if you are going to be starting your program is to wait to join the nursing SOS membership community until you actually start your program. So I used to say that, and here's why is because enrollment was always open. So I had enrollment open all year long and you can join whenever. So what happened was earlier this year, or actually earlier in the summer, we raised the price and now we're deciding to close it. So earlier in the summer what happened was we actually had a ton of students join who hadn't even started nursing school yet because they knew the price was going to increase. You see what I'm saying? So I used to tell students that, hey, no, don't join if you haven't started nursing school yet. Wait until you start because I don't want you to waste your money on something you're not using. Obviously, because if you're not in nursing school, it's not going to help you. But here's what I noticed is before we raised the price over the summer, we had a lot of people join who were starting in the fall. Like they. So they went for like three or four months. They were just hanging out, getting to know me inside the Facebook group and inside the membership community even before they Started nursing school, so it was actually kind of cool. But I did notice that they found that really valuable. So here's what I am saying now. So my thoughts on this have kind of changed because we are closing enrollment now. So this is the first time in about a year that we're closing enrollment. Enrollment was actually open for the past kind of almost a year. I think it's been like nine months or something. But now we're deciding to close it again. So it will be closed starting tomorrow. So with now that we're closing enrollment, we're going to open it a few times throughout the year. It might be better for you to enroll before you start school. School. You see what I'm saying? So if your start date kind of falls between our enrollment periods and you want to make sure that you can get in right when you start school, then I would definitely register now. But that's totally up to you. It's totally your decision. So that's just kind of what I've seen. I used to tell students, no, wait, don't waste your money until you've started nursing school, because enrollment was open all the time. But now that we're closing enrollment and who knows, the price could go up. I haven't decided. I have no idea. Commitment phobe here. So I don't know. I don't know when enrollment's gonna open again, and I don't know what the price is gonna be. If it's gonna be higher, it won't be lower. The price obviously won't be lower than it is now, but it might be higher. I don't know. So if you want to take that risk, that's totally fine and wait until the next enrollment period. Awesome. If not, it's totally up to you. You can enroll, enroll now, or not. It's totally your call, so you know what's best for you. I just want to give you all that information so that you can make the best decision for you. So those are kind of the main categories to not join, right? If you are totally rocking nursing school, if you're studying to take your nclex, or if you're kind of on the way out of your nursing program, or if you're in an LPN or LVN program. And then kind of that fourth category, if you have not started your nursing program yet, you may or you may not want to join based on. Because our enrollment to the nursing SOS Membership community is closing. If your start date kind of falls in between and you want to make sure you get in, then Great. If not, no big deal. You know, just make that decision for you. I just want to make sure that it's really the right fit for you. Obviously, I want to help as many students as possible, so I hope that all that information kind of helped. So now the next question that I wanted to answer was, okay, that's great. After I enroll now, how do I get my questions answered? So after you enroll into the Nursing SOS membership community, what happens? What happens after I enroll and how can I get my questions answered? So here is kind of what happens. Right after you submit that payment and click that button, you will be sent an email with your username and login, and you can log in immediately into the site. So it's a totally different website. I send you all that information in an email. So you will get everything. You'll get your username and your password to log in, and then you have access to everything that's inside that site. And you'll also be sent a URL to that private Facebook group as well. So I will add you over on that private Facebook group and you can start interacting with me and with the other students in there. So this week we've had lots of enrollments and we've gotten a lot of people into that Facebook group. It's been really, really fun to meet all the new students and to answer their questions and have everybody chatting with each other. I'm so amazed. It's so much fun. It always blows me away when we get new students in, how amazing our community is because they all jump in and answer questions. It's just so great. So it's such a great community, and I hope that you will be a part of it. So that's what kind of happens after you log in. You'll immediately get sent your username and password and the membership site URL, obviously, and the Facebook link to join the private Facebook group, which is a bonus with your enrollment. And then also just something fun, fun and fancy that I do that I think is really fun is I will actually send you a personal welcome video. So literally, I see all the enrollments that come through, and I will actually email you a video, a just a personalized video welcoming you to our group. So it's kind of fun. Like, I. I know everybody's name. I feel like it's just a little family because I literally, like, think of you guys all the time. So I actually just post popped into the Facebook group, I think it was yesterday, and one of our girls, Michelle, I told her, I was like, oh, My gosh, girl, I was just thinking about you. So I. Because I don't know, like, sometimes you guys just, like, pop in my heart and I just want to pray for you or whatever, but I think about you all the time. So I really like doing those personalized videos. It's kind of a nice, welcome kind of thing and makes you feel comfortable and allows us to get to know each other a little bit better. So I hope all of that information helped you. If you have any questions, leave a comment on this video. I will be around to answer anything you've got for me, and I hope that this was helpful for you in kind of making your decision either way. Obviously, it's not right for everyone, so if it's not right for you, no big deal, no worries. I want to make sure that it's the most helpful that it can be for you and that we've got the right people inside that I can actually help. And you know, I'm all about helping to change your life. So we're here to help you raise your grades and have more free time in nursing school. So I hope this video helped. Like I said, if you have any, any, any questions at all, leave a comment below. I will definitely be hanging out on this video today and always to answer questions. So I hope you guys have a great rest of your week and weekend and we'll chat soon. Take care. Bye.
