In this informal YouTube video, Christina from nursingschoolofsuccess.com shares her top five Mother’s Day gift ideas that are especially suited for moms who are also nursing students (or for the moms of nursing students). She walks through each recommendation, explains why it resonates with her personal experience in nursing school, and offers practical reasons why each item could support a busy, stressed, or spiritually‑focused mother. The five gifts are: (1) a personalized or themed Bible, highlighted for its sentimental value and the ability to share family highlights; (2) the self‑help book Girl, Wash Your Face by Rachel Hollis, praised for encouraging vulnerability and authenticity; (3) Sacred Influence by Gary Thomas, suggested for married moms to regain a sense of control and perspective during the pressures of nursing school; (4) journals/notebooks (including a “Start Something Wonderful” journal and a pocket‑size daily planner) for organization, emotional dumping, and the tactile pleasure of writing; and (5) a sparkly coffee mug that adds a fun, comforting touch to daily routines. Christina provides links in the video description, shares personal anecdotes (e.g., using her husband’s Bible with her son, reading Sacred Influence during nursing school), and ends by promoting her next video on how to pass nursing school. The overall tone is enthusiastic, conversational, and supportive, aiming to help viewers find thoughtful, practical gifts that also aid in managing the challenges of nursing education.

Hello. Hello, Christina here with nursingschoolofsuccess.com and today we are talking about gifts for mamas for Mother's Day, because we're coming up on Mother's Day. How exciting. So I'm going to give you my top five gifts that I think would be pretty cool for you to give your mama for Mother's Day or to just get for yourself. So I will put all the links to these down below in the description. I hope you love them. Some of them, I don't know if I can really find the exact ones online, but I can at least get close. So I hope you love them. So let's start with, of course, a Bible. This is mine personally. This is my Bible, and I love it because it's blue and it's pretty. You can get, like, women's Bibles, particularly. There's probably mom Bibles online. But just kind of anything that kind of speaks to you personally if you're buying it for yourself or one that you think would be good for your mama. They come in, like, all different kind of styles, and a lot of them have, like, different things, like, written. Let's see. This is the one, actually, that I have been going through with my son. This was my husband's Bible when he was a kid. So I actually love going through it with my son now and seeing my husband's highlights and everything. It's so cute. So, like, a lot of Bibles can come with, you know, different, like, commentary in the side. So whatever you think would speak to the mama in your life, the best. So these are my two top picks because I love them. Now, the second one that we'll talk about is this book right here, Girl, Wash youh Face. If you have not read it yet, what are you doing with your life? You've got to pick this up. It's so good. Rachel Hollis is amazing. Each chapter goes through a lie that she used to believe about herself, and they're all really relatable. What I really took away from this book was just the fact that you can be so vulnerable and authentic with people and really develop close relationships in that way. I think that is so, so important to, you know, kind of be more authentic to yourself and authentically you. And that is kind of what our experience is all about. I think that's the best that you could do. So I really, really love this book. I definitely felt like I was not alone as much as I felt before I read it. I just. I just really, really loved it. And I think that you will too, or the mama in your life will. And now the third one that I want to talk about is this book. I love books. Can you tell this is a little bit of a different one, though, and is not going to apply to everyone. So this book is Sacred Influence by Gary Thomas. And this book is one that I recommend to wives, particularly mamas and wives, if you have been married for, I would say, over a year. So if you've been married for over a year and you are a mama and a wife and who is struggling with life, this is the book for you. So my big takeaway from this book was that a lot of the things that are going on in your life, you have control over. This book is technically about how you can change your husband, but the caveat is that you have to change yourself first. And so I really loved it. You guys actually read this in nursing school because nursing school is really hard, not only on, you know, yourself and everything that you've got going on, but in your interpersonal relationships as well. So with your. With your spouse, with your family, with your kids, it really, really strains everything. So really, this book was so, so good for me. I read it during nursing school to kind of reset my mind that, like, okay, yeah, I do have more control over things than I had thought that I did. So that one was really helpful. So the fourth one that we'll talk about is just a journal. And who doesn't love a good journal, right? So. So I have two that I picked up because I use both of these. So this is my main journal. Start something wonderful. I just like the. You can pick up. I think I got this from Target. You can pick them up just random places. But Target is awesome. Who doesn't love Target? And they always have, like, fun things on the covers. And of course I love blue. But then also I just had a friend give me this and she wrote my name on it. That was so nice. So, April, if you're watching this, shout out to you. Thank you so much. And. And this one actually I just put like my daily to do's in and I just love it because it's like pocket sized and I pretty much take it with me all the time just so I don't remember things. I'm not someone that can really write notes in my phone. I'm really not. I don't like using my phone as much. Don't tell my husband. I really don't like using my phone as much for, like writing things down. I really like the physical act of writing Maddie's always trying to get me to do like more electronic stuff and, and keep things electronically. But, ah, it's so hard. I just, I really, really like the physical act of writing things down. So that's why these like notebooks are really handy. So if you have a bunch of things to keep track of in nursing school, of course, like we all do, then something like pocket size just like this or, you know, brain dump all of your emotions and all your tears and all your anxieties into a journal from nursing school. And especially, you know, for the momma in your life. Every mama has, you know, stuff that we could always write out. Right? Am I right? I'm right. All right, now the final thing that we'll talk about. I have talked about this before because I love mugs. Coffee mugs, I love them. This one is one of my favorites. Throw glitter in today's face because it just makes me happy and it feels like, you know, sparkly. And it's pink. It actually comes in purple I believe too. I had the choice either pink or purple. So I don't know. I'll take a look at that and see if that's still available. But this is my favorite. So I will link to this down below if you want it too or want to buy it for the moment in your life. So those are the five things that I personally really, really love. And I think that either you would love or you would love to get for your mom. So I hope you really enjoy them and I hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day. The next video I've got for you coming up next is all about how to pass nursing school. So click on that video and keep rocking nursing school, my friend. Take care. Bye Bye.
