In this instructional video, Christina Rafano from nursingschoolofsuccess.com guides nursing students through a hands‑on, three‑part action plan designed to reduce overwhelm and anxiety associated with nursing school. She begins by asking viewers to pause the video and write a comprehensive weekly to‑do list covering both school and personal responsibilities. Next, she prompts them to identify three enjoyable, energizing activities (e.g., walking, prayer, playing with a dog) that can boost mood and counter stress, again pausing for a minute of reflection. Finally, she asks viewers to list three habits or tasks they will give up for the week to make space for those energizing activities, allocating three minutes for this exercise. Throughout, Christina offers supportive, faith‑based encouragement, reminding viewers to focus on joy, commit to their plan, and trust in their ability to succeed as future nurses. The video ends with a motivational call to action and an invitation to subscribe for more nursing‑school support content.

So I want you to go and grab a piece of paper and a pen right now, and I'll even wait right here for you to come back. Sweet. Now let's get started. So now that you've got your pen and your paper, here is the first thing that you're gonna write down. Make a whole list of what you need to do this week. All of the things that you need to get done that you've got going on that you need to get done for either nursing school or for just life in general this week. Just write everything down that you need to do this week. Now, I want you to take a whole three minutes to do this activity. Literally write down that you need to do this week. So when I say go, hit pause on this video and take three whole minutes to write all of it down. Ready, set, go. Overwhelming, right? I mean, there's about a gazillion things on that list, right? So we are going to fix this and make it way less overwhelming. Now, I want you to write down three things that you can do to make your life less overwhelming. Think of three things that. That you find enjoyable that will give you energy and make you happy. Do you need to take a daily walk? Maybe. Do you want to make prayer more of a priority? Take your dog to the dog park, Maybe even take a nap this afternoon. Make a list of three things that will help you be less overwhelmed and anxious about this whole to do list. Hit pause again on this video and take one whole minute to think about and write down three things that will give you energy this week. Ready? Go. All right. Awesome job so far. I am so glad you picked those three things to do this week to give you more energy and help you beat the nursing school overwhelm. Now, here's the Last thing that I want you to write down. Are you ready? Because this one is a doozy. What are three things that you are going to give up this week to make it happen? What three things are you going to not do this week in order to fit in those three things that give you energy? Are you going to wake up a half hour early to get a quick walk in? Are you going to cut back on the afternoon caffeine and drink some more water instead? Make a list of three things that you are going to give up so that you can do all of the things that will make nursing school less overwhelming for you. So take three more minutes and make a list of those three things that you you are going to give up or three things that you are going to stop doing this week in order to make time for the three things that will give you energy and make you happier in nursing school. Okay, so your three minutes begins now. Okay. Do you feel better already? I hope you do, because you've just made a list of three things that you want to do this week that will bring you joy and keep your energy up. You've also made a list of the things that you can give up or stop doing or say no to this week to help you make that happen. You've actually got an action plan right in front of you, so now you need to use it. Commit to doing those three things this week that will bring you joy. And as you go through this week, I really want you to shift your focus away from the things that stress you out in nursing school and onto the things that bring you joy. You've just listed out three things that you enjoy doing and that will keep you energized. So let that fuel you this week. Think about them as you go through this week and really get excited. You've got a lot to look forward to, my friend, and it's all written down right there on that list. You can do this. Nursing school might be tough, but you, my friend, are tougher. Do not forget that you've got this. Now go become the nurse that God created only you to be. And I will see you right back here next time on the nursing school show. Take care of.
