In this YouTube video, the host presents three essential resources for nursing students. First, the NCLEX Mastery mobile app, which offers subject‑organized practice questions to improve retention and get students accustomed to NCLEX‑style testing; a 20% discount link is provided, and the host discloses an affiliate commission. Second, the Nursing Diagnosis Handbook by Ackley & Ludwig, a concise reference that lists diagnoses, goals, related factors, signs/symptoms, and interventions, dramatically speeding up care‑plan writing. Third, the Made Incredibly Easy book series (Nursing Assessment, Pathophysiology, Fluid & Electrolytes), praised for breaking down complex concepts into easy‑to‑understand explanations, though the host notes the books are high‑level and should be paired with deeper resources like the Merck Manual. The video concludes with standard calls to like, subscribe, and use the description links, and a motivational sign‑off encouraging viewers to become the nurse they are meant to be.

In this video we are going to talk about three nursing school resources you've got to have for nursing school. And some of these you may not have thought about yet. So stay tuned, I will let you know exactly what they are. Okay, so the first nursing school resource that is a must have in my opinion is an app to help you answer those pesky nursing school questions. And this one's called the the NCLEX Mastery app. It's amazing. I used it in nursing school before exams to help answer questions about what I was studying. And there's two reasons why I really love doing this. The first, it helped me retain the information better. And second, it really helped me get into the mindset and the zone of answering nursing school style questions or nclex style questions. And if you've been around here for a while, you know that I always, always recommend that you answer practice questions before you take your exams. Even if you get them wrong, it is still going to help you get used to how you'll be tested on your exams and what typical nursing school questions look like. So if you don't do anything else, definitely download this app, keep it on your phone and run through some practice questions before your exams. They actually make it so super duper easy because the questions are divided up by subject. So if you need help with fundamentals, just click on Fundamentals. If you need help with Cardiac, all you gotta do is click on Cardiac. It's super easy and it will help you out a ton. And I've actually got a 20% off deal for you. If you use the link down below this video, you'll get 20% off that app. But make sure you use that link because if you don't, you won't get that deal. Now I do need to answer disclaimer in here. I will receive a small commission if you decide that you'd like to purchase through my link for this app or any of the other resources in this video. But honestly, I love all of them and I could not live without these in nursing school. So I would recommend them to you anyway because I absolutely love them and I know that you will love them too. I know they will help you. The second resource I recommend is a book to help you out with care plans. Write care plans every day in nursing school. So it's really important to have a handy resource to make them way easier instead of spending hours and hours and hours struggling to write them. So the sooner you find one that works for you, the better off you will be because the quicker you can write your care plans, the faster you can get back to living your life, my friend. So here's the book I recommend. It is the Nursing Diagnosis Hair Handbook by Ackley and Ludwig. And it really literally walks you through each nursing diagnosis and the possible goals, the causes, the symptoms, and the nursing interventions you can do. It basically writes your care plans for you. So all you need to do is look up the nursing diagnosis you're working with and it lists out all the possible goals you can use, possible related to factors, the possible signs and symptoms, symptoms and possible nursing interventions you could do. It's amazing. So definitely buy the book. If you're struggling with care plans, you will thank me once you've saved about a gazillion hours writing care plans. And the third resource that we're gonna talk about in this video is the Made Incredibly Easy book series. Specifically the Nursing Assessment, the Pathophysiology and the Fluid and electrolyte books. So these three books I used in nursing school that really just helped me so much, they are a lifesaver. They really break down concepts super well. They make it super easy to understand. Now, the only issue I ran into with these books and is because the concepts are so broken down and easy to understand is that it doesn't go that deep into some of the topics. So for example, with like the pathophysiology book, it's more of a high level overview of what's going on with each disorder rather than a deeper dive into each disorder. So I actually paired these books with my other resources like the Merck manual or my other nursing textbooks. So that worked really well. So if you're struggling to understand some of those really tough nursing school concepts, the Made Incredibly Easy book series might really be helpful for you. That's a wrap, my friend. I hope you enjoyed these resources. I hope you know they will help you rock nursing school. All the links are down below in the description.
