If you are feeling overwhelmed, burned out and anxious in nursing school right now, my friend, this video is for you. Let's talk about what to do when nursing school gets hard and when, to be honest, you don't really want to do it anymore. Let's go. Okay. This happens all the time in nursing school. I am telling you, you are not the only one. Like, if you're in this place of burnout and just feeling not motivated and stuck and like you can't move forward, it just happens. It happens all the time. It happens to everyone. Do not think that this is like the end of the world for you. I know it feels that way, but I promise you, you can push past this and get through it. I'm going to give you a few tips to help you out with that. It's going to change everything for you, I promise. So stay with me. I know you can do this. The first one is to really understand why you are doing this. Now, I really don't like this. It sounds so cliche. Like, everyone tells you, like, know your why and why, know why you're doing this and remember why you're doing and all these things. But here's the thing. It is so powerful because you right now, being in nursing school are going through so much. You have so much on your plate, right? You have clinical, you have care plans to write. You have probably three days of lecture class a week, maybe you have three clinicals a week. You have skills lab, you have all of these things to do. And it's not like your life stops while you're in nursing school, right? You have to just now do both, right? You're going to nursing school and you are trying to manage your life in. In the process. That is not an easy thing to do, my friend. But you are doing it. You are absolutely capable of handling all of it. But you have to understand and remember why. Why are you doing this? Why are you going to nursing school in the first place? For most of us, it's to provide a better life for our family. Like, think of your children, think of your family, think of all of the opportunities that you can have. Like, this is what God wants you to do, right? Is to help people, serve his other children and put in as much dedication as you, right? So like I said, it sounds so cliche. Like, it's kind of sounds so dumb. But you have to know why you were doing that and that why that reason has to be more powerful, like emotionally than how stuck you are feeling right now. It has to be a very Powerful why? Like, think about where you're going to be in five years from now. You are going to be so stinking proud of yourself for making it through the tough time that you are in right now, right? Five years from now, when you are a nurse working at whatever dream job you want to work at, right? You are going to be, you're going to look back and be so, so proud of how you overcame this moment right here. So that why has to be so, so powerful for you. Now, the second thing you need to be absolutely aware of is how much drama you are indulging in. Now. Hear me out here, okay? Stay with me. This is huge, my friend. I don't think any of us realize how much of other people's drama and our own brain drama we are actually indulging in on a daily basis. Like, how often do you watch the news? Come on. That is all. Dr. Do not need that in your life. When you are going through nursing school. You already have so much on your plate. You do not need to bring your energy level down by watching the news, my friend. I'm telling you that. Just trust me on this one. Other people's drama, like if you are talking to other students in your class and they're stressed or they're feeling anxious or they're burned out or feeling unmotivated, like, you don't need that to bring your energy level down in nursing school. Not helpful for you, right? Seriously, probably the biggest one is your own brain drama. Your own brain telling you, this is impossible. I can't do it. It's too hard. All the things like your brain is going to tell you all the reasons why you can't do it, all the brain drama. So you have to make sure that you are aware of all the drama outside in your life and in your own brain, right? So that you can move forward. It's very, very hard to stay productive and stay efficient in nursing school and do what you have to do, right? To stay, study without distractions and get things done. It's very, very hard to do that when you are stressed and overwhelmed and burned out because of all the other drama that's going on in your life. Not helpful. Try to stay away from it as much as possible. Now here's a question I love to ask myself. What would this look like if this were easier? It sounds crazy. I'm telling you, it sounds crazy. But this can totally change everything for you, okay? Stay with me. When you are stressed, burned out, feeling overwhelmed, stuck, all of the things in nursing school like you are probably right now, like all of us have been there. You have to think of ways to make it easier for you. Okay? And asking yourself this question. What would this look like if it were easier? That is a great question to ask because I promise you, I promise you there are ways to make it easier. But if you are stressed, if you are burned out, if you are anxious, if you're not even willing to ask yourself that question, you're not going to find any answers, right? You have to actually be willing to ask yourself that question and come up with solutions. So what would nursing school look like if it were easier? Do you have to decrease something in your life? Like, do you need to delegate to your spouse? Doing the dishes, doing the laundry, making dinner? Maybe you do takeout for dinner more often. Maybe you wake up earlier for clinical so you're not rushing to clinic clinical every morning. Right? Maybe you lay out your clothes the night before. There are ways to make it easier. Maybe you have to delete Instagram off your phone. Just saying. Maybe TikTok as well. Totally fine. What do you need to do to make nursing school easier for you? There is always going to be something, but you have to be willing to ask yourself that question. What would this look like if it was easier? There are going to be solutions, I promise you. And one of the ways to make it easier might just be to learn better study tips, better study strategies. Strategies, which is exactly what I walk you through in this video. In that video, I am giving you the exact strategies that I use to get straight A's in nursing school while also taking every single Saturday off. So check it out. It's gonna change everything for you. And go become the nurse that God created only you to be. I know you can do this, my friend. I'll see you over there in that next video. Take care. Bye.
