In this solo live session, Haritosh Srivastav reflects on hitting a "blank" moment on day 10 of his 21‑day challenge to go live daily across social platforms. He admits he had no prepared topic, received no audience questions, and felt uncertainty, yet he chose to stay on camera to honor his commitment. He shares the broader lesson that showing up—even when blank—builds courage, confidence, and community support. He draws parallels to his writing practice, describing how daily accountability helped him push through writer’s block. Throughout, he thanks specific supporters, promotes his upcoming book Small Town Bigger Dreams (highlighting its Amazon bestseller rankings), and emphasizes the importance of mutual encouragement and stepping out of comfort zones. The session ends with gratitude and a promise to return with more content the next day.

Hello everyone, welcome to day 10 of 21. Those you know, I have taken a 21-day live challenge going online on various social media— Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and sometimes on Instagram— to come live and talk about something. So this is day 10 and we have only 12 days to go. Now, have you ever faced a situation where you went blank, like totally blank, and you did not know what to do? Today is one such day for me. Now, I've gone live for 9 days. I've got the friends here, I've got my accountability partner. I talked about my favorite books, why I did the book, uh, some of the feedback, live reviews and all. And I was thinking, what's that? What should I do? And I was blank. Thank you, Rajat, for confirming. Yeah, I did not know what to talk about today because honestly speaking, I do not have anything great to talk about. But then I thought for a moment that if I am feeling blank, it probably happens with many of us. We've been asked to talk on stage, we have been asked to give a presentation, we've been asked to do a live like I'm doing, and, and we feel blank. What to do? And then when I thought about it again, I I think on those moments, it's more important to show up than actually pull back, than actually quit, say I quit. So today I'm live. I do not have anything planned. I do not know what I'm going to talk about, but I'm here. I also had a bit of failure. I'm being totally honest. I posted on social media that ask me any question. Hi Kanika, hi Rajat, hi Chetan. I also posted on social media that ask me any question, and you know how many people responded? That's it, zero. This is what life is. Hi Chetan. We— I did not— I was not asked any question. And that's what it is. So what do you do when you're not— when you are in a situation where you are blank, you wanted to be asked questions, but there are no questions asked? I can tell you what I did and what I'm doing now. You show up. You show up because you have made a commitment to be there. With your audience, with your people, with your community, knowing— not knowing actually what you're gonna do, what you're gonna say. But I am sure if you continue to be there, you'll get some ideas, you'd get— you'll get something to talk about, you'll get some people will give you the support. So this I think is very much important. There is a famous quote and many of you would have heard that, no, feel the fear and do it anyways. And today I just experienced that. I felt, and I think a few minutes back I said to my wife, I'm going live and I have no clue what I'm gonna talk about. And there I am. So I want you to take this lesson. Think if it is important, please share that. No, if you are in a situation where you are completely blank, you do not know what to do, at least show up. Because when you keep showing up, you get the courage You get the confidence, you get the support that is required for you to go. And it's not only about public speaking or life, it's about anything. I also had chances, and now that I'm talking, I'm getting ideas, as you can see. I also had times when I was going through the book writing process where I did not know what to write. I was on my desk. I had a commitment with me to be on my desk at 7 AM and, and write something. And there have been days where I did not write even 10 words. There have been time I wrote one chapter complete, probably, but there have been time where I did not write anything. But what it helped is when I was accountable, committed to myself Next day when I came, I at least wrote more than 10 words. And I'm sure if I'm committed to coming online every day, if I come tomorrow, hopefully I'll have some better ideas. So thank you all. Thank you for watching this live or online. Thank you, Chetan. Thank you for affirming and confirming my thoughts. Thank you, Surat, ma'am, for joining. Thank you, people watching there. This is a very short video, uh, to be honest, I did not have anything. So thank you so much for joining. As you already know, Small Town Bigger Dreams is already available for pre-order on Amazon. It's already number 7 bestseller in personal time management, and it's number 1 in the hot new releases in the same category. So I'm deeply, deeply thankful to everyone who has helped me. Thank you. So many people, so many people have supported me, provided me words of encouragement and said, no, you can do it. So thank you everyone. I cannot say thanks enough from the bottom of my heart. So thank you everyone. Keep pouring in the support. I think in a word, if you want to make the world better, We all need to support each other. There are so many ways we are different, but what's more important is how are we supporting each other, how are we letting each other grow, and that's where we make a better world. Thank you so much. I don't have anything else to say, so thank you. I will talk to you tomorrow, hopefully with something which is not as blank as today. So take care, stay blessed. Until next time, keep learning, keep growing, and keep going out of your comfort zone. This is Haritosh Srivastav, and I'll be back tomorrow. Take care and stay blessed.
