A three-step daily routine to get better at storytelling: write down a standout moment each day, expand it into a full story the next day with setting and emotions, then share it naturally in conversation. Doing this consistently builds the skill.

If my life depended on becoming a better storyteller, here is what 3 things I will do every single day. Number 1, capture the moment. I would ask myself every day, what is that one moment throughout the day that has stood out? Maybe it's a mistake I did, maybe it's a small realization, maybe it's a conversation that happened. I would just note it down in my notebook. Number 2, improvise a story. Once I've written down the moment, next day I'm gonna improvise on that. I'm gonna answer the question of where was I, what was I doing, what did it make me feel, what was the outcome of that. So when you start writing down scripting every single day, it adds to your storytelling skills. And the third and the most important one is share it with someone. I'm not gonna say that, hey, I have a story, please listen. But I'm going to apply that while talking to people. But anywhere somebody asks you, how are you doing? Instead of saying, yeah, I'm doing fine, you can just say, you know what, last night when I had that conversation, I had this deep realization, and you can tell the story.
