In this motivational instructional video, the creator addresses the common fear of speaking on camera and argues that the problem isn’t a lack of confidence but a lack of ritual and practice. He uses a vivid hypothetical (being forced at gunpoint) to illustrate that when stakes are high, people can act, suggesting that ordinary video‑creation anxiety stems from low familiarity. He recounts his own journey of producing over 700 videos, noting how early recordings were far less confident than his current style, and emphasizes that perfectionism—expecting flawless first takes—paralyzes creators. He reframes the camera from a threatening black‑hole to a friendly lens through which an audience watches, encouraging viewers to imagine speaking to a friend, colleague, or potential buyer. Practical tactics are offered: tell stories, share learnings, or address misconceptions even without a script; use AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude to generate scripts; employ a teleprompter if needed, but not as an excuse. Finally, he issues a 30‑day challenge—record and post a 1‑2 minute video daily on any platform—to build habit, confidence, and personal brand, and invites participants to join a “Confident Storytelling Hub” for further support.

Have you ever felt that you need to create videos, but the moment you take your phone, the moment you open the laptop, or the moment you see a camera, you feel frozen as if something has bit you and you can't do that? I've had hundreds of people who have said the same thing. So in this video, I am going to share with you some of the tips, some of the tricks, some of the techniques that can help you create videos even when you're not feeling confident. So let me start by telling you, you don't lack confidence. What you lack is a ritual or practice. Let me give you a fictional scenario. Let's say you were trapped in a place and you were at a gunpoint, and somebody say that unless you create a video, we are not going to spare you. You might shoot you, what would you do? Would you still not face camera or you will create hundreds and hundreds of minutes of video? What would happen? I'm sure all of you would agree that you will create videos. It's only when you're a little bit comfortable, it's only when you lack a little bit of practice, that's when these things happen. And my purpose is not to scare you. Nobody's gonna come put a gun on your head, to create video, but it's you who stop you from creating videos. I remember when I started this journey a few years back. Now, one of the problem that most of us is that we are perfectionists. We want to have that perfect video in the very first take, and the moment it's not even 0.1% incorrect, or we don't have the perfect setup, perfect audio, perfect lighting, we feel like it's not worth creating. Has it happened to you? I know because I have had been there. I know. And if you look back on this channel, if you go back, we have over 700+ videos on this channel itself, right? And then we have similar on other platform as well, Facebook, etc. You look at the very first videos, I am sure you will find that the confidence level is much, much lower than how I am speaking right now. Does that mean those videos were bad? No, those were good at that time. So what you need to remember is you need to be best at that time, and your best may evolve over time. Unless you make 99 runs, you can't make a century, right? So I want you to put that perspective in mind that this is a long-term process and you will not be perfect from day one, from the first video. The second thing, and I know a lot of people have this, is the fear of facing camera. They feel the camera is like a black hole and if you continue to look, it's going to suck you into that black hole and you will be lost. Trust me, I've created thousands of video. I'm still alive. I'm still breathing. Right. Jokes apart, I want you to change this perspective of not looking this camera as mechanical thing, as a technical thing, but think about it as your audience watching you through this lens. So I want you to imagine your friend, your colleague, your audience, your potential buyers watching you through this camera lens. And once you do that, It changes your perspective. You do not see camera as an enemy, camera as something which is scary, but as a friend who's there to support you, who's there to elevate you, who's there to uplift your brand. The third thing is a lot of time when camera is on and we need to create videos, we think about what do I say? How do I record? I don't have a script. First of all, nobody is stopping you from creating the script, but suppose you didn't have time to create the script. Even then, you can still share stories. You can talk about what happened to you. You can talk about the major learnings that you had. You can talk about the major misconception people have and how you have helped them overcome that. Does that require a lot? Probably not. But this is where your expertise can come into the picture. And regarding scripts, let's talk a little bit about technical stuff. So if you need to create scripts, we are living in one of the best technological times. You have so many things to help you. You have ChatGPT, you have Claude, you have other AI tools. You can also use teleprompter. Yes, I know a lot of people have this thing that I can't use teleprompter, but If you're not confident enough, if you're not sure what to say, use a teleprompter. At least it will show your confidence, right? So there's nothing wrong in using teleprompter as long as you're not making it like your life depended on it. So yes, if you have teleprompter, use it. But if you don't have it, don't make this as an excuse that, oh, I can't record, I don't have a teleprompter. So before I finish this video, I have a challenge for you, and this challenge is not for faint-hearted. This challenge is for the brave hearts. This challenge is for somebody who really wants to build their brand. So the challenge is, for the next 30 days, I want you to record one video of 1 to 2 minutes every day and post it on one of the social media. You may use your main social media, but if you're not comfortable, create another YouTube account. It's not taxable, you don't have to pay any money for that. Go to another Facebook profile, but post it every single day for next 30 days. And once you have done that, then come back to this video and share with me how much more you're feeling confident now. And if you still need more help, you know You can reach out to me by coming and being part of a Confident Storytelling Hub. I am looking forward to your videos. Wish you all the best and story power to you.
