Community Support Heals: How Video Challenges Transform Inner and Outer Growth @BrainCoachSunny

Sunny Nagpal describes how Confidence Storytelling Hub's monthly 21-day video challenge helped him overcome limiting beliefs and procrastination. He credits the community support with fostering inner healing and spiritual growth, which then showed up as better outer skills and teamwork. Sunny cites a Gallup study finding 85% of people unhappy, and says the challenge gave him the structure to discover hidden talents.

This is why Gallup study also says 85% people are unhappy. We become better human beings, we become better team players because one is doing the task. What about the community? You're receiving blessings. What about you giving to others? We all think who learns communication I've been communicating since my birth, but communicating with emotions, communicating with heart, communicating with self, communicating with the universe. Because of the end in mind, I could win over the structure challenge easily.
Wow, they remind me of Stephen Covey's Start with an End in Mind, right? The 7 Principles of Success.
It's not about these challenges, it's not about being number one, scoring the maximum points. No, we are not in a race. But something happens inside. You just get into a habit of closing things, deleting the past, healing from the past. That is a real victory, and that is the reason you should be part of a great community like this, because community support heals.
Hey everyone, welcome another month Another interview series. Yes, if you are not aware, in Confident Storytelling Hub, every month we do a 21-day challenge wherein members participate and create video, share in the group, and also sometime on social media as well. So in the last month, which is September, we did something called Speaking to Lead Challenge, and we had many participants who have already done the challenge, but we had one participant who have been part of the community but participated this time. So that's why we are going to have one finisher interview, and that person is named as Sunny Nagpal, or famously known as Smiling Sunny. So let's welcome Smiling Sunny here and let's do his interview. Welcome, Sunny Ji, how are you?
Namaste, good afternoon. I am super, super, super inspired. And thankful to you for creating this beautiful community.
Awesome, thank you. So for our audience, would you like to tell us a little bit about yourself?
Namaste, I'm Sunny. I love children, children love me. My mission is very simple. I want you to discover the diamond within you, all the talents, all the potential which God put inside you is hidden. This is why most of them fail to recognize it. God hid it so that you discover, you shine, you succeed, and you live a great life. Yes, this is why Gallup study also says 85% people are unhappy. Yes, that's my mission. To help everyone realize their natural, like breathing, their talents, their personality, what makes them happy and successful.
Awesome, thank you. So tell us, how long have you been part of Confidence Storytelling Hub? And how did you, how did you join Confidence Storytelling? What's the story? I mean, I know the story, but I want you to tell the story.
Yeah, so I had a very important event last year. Yes, my business partner was already getting trained by Haritosh Srivastav for a keynote speech. Haritosh kept telling me, aaj ho, aaj ho. I said, what, no, no, I don't, I'm not a prepared speaker, it is very difficult for me. Then Haritosh Srivastav inspired me and I happily joined. I joined for a keynote, but I realized all those sessions were not just communication, they were life coaching for me. They were conversations, they were breakthroughs, they were healing, they were deep messages. That universe is beautiful, universe listens, and we are born to shine. Though I was doing a lot of things related to this, but conversations with a great coach like Haritosh Srivastav can add on like a cherry, like the cream in the paneer butter masala, like the cream in the dal makhani. Which makes it very presentable. More in the next questions.
Absolutely. I am pretty sure the audience is already feeling hungry, so let's not make, make them wait a lot. So you've been part of the conference Storytelling Hub for a year, uh, and you have also seen we started doing this challenge, but this time finally you said, okay, I want to be part of it. So What inspired you to be part of this Speak to Lead Challenge and how was your experience?
It's very easy for anyone to be overconfident. I have been making videos for years. Why do I need it? The truth is I really needed it. I've been making videos without structure. I have not been part of many communities where, you know, With focus, they are preparing content. With structure, they are preparing content. So this challenge meant the world to me.
Thank you.
You wear a student's hat, you restart, it's a rebirth.
Amazing.
So the momentum, the spirit, because brains are different, some need love and motivation. Some need a structure, like me. Some need a self-belief, who are doubting. And some need just a direction so that they don't procrastinate. So this community, these challenges, give us everything. They can cut your limiting beliefs, they can give direction, They can remove procrastination. They can help you take a leap beyond perfectionism. So for me, it was very, very easy. I just needed the structure and I took a leap. I celebrated effortlessly.
Awesome. Thank you. And I think this next question is going to be very interesting because when I do the interview, this is one of my favorite questions. Like, nothing comes easy in life, right? Whenever you take up a challenge, Sometimes you actually face the real struggle or problem. So first of all, did you face any struggle or problem? And if you faced, how did you overcome those?
See, uh, you know me pretty well. I'm a speed guy. I love to close things. So there will be days where you want to close. So in that speed, those challenges were overcome easily. But you also know my area of improvement, that structure, reading the instructions carefully. So those places I had to really challenge myself. But I had one goal in mind: I need to be number one, I need to win, I need to be a finisher, which comes naturally to me. Yes. So that end in mind That, yes, I've taken up even if I don't like. So sometimes even at 11:30 I get up and make the video. That was the spirit. So that spirit is a must, and only because of this challenge we get that spirit, because these challenges keep you consistent. These challenges give you the momentum, and this challenge gave me structure. Lovely. So because of the end in mind, I could win over the structure challenge easily.
Wow, they remind me of Stephen Covey's Start with an End in Mind, right? The 7 principles of success. Awesome. So the next question for you is, uh, what was your main aha or breakthrough moment of this journey? Because Everybody has their own moment. So what do you think was your main, like, wow, I didn't expect this, or I didn't know I could do this, or this is something that, you know, out of the world. So what was your moment?
So yes, every day was a breakthrough. You must be wondering why. Because every day came with a unique challenge. It was not monotonous. Okay, go make 21 videos, talk. No, 21 days, 21 challenges, they came with a lot of thought, a lot of homework behind. And you know, the mentor works the maximum because mentor is planning, designing the challenges. Every day was structure for me, a new structure for all of us. So we all grew together. Appreciating, encouraging. Now, the aha moments were every day because every day was new. Like, we all have been searching for answers and we get those answers there. We all want to be organized, structured, especially me. So be it small introductions, be those elevator pitches, Yes, you know, I know I am yet to master it, but those days, those challenges became aha for me. When I did my elevator pitch, when I got that structure— okay, start with the problem, and then lastly introduce— okay, I do this, I'm on a mission. So these moments became very, very special. It was like I got my answer.
Yeah, I do remember your elevator pitch and you saying the message, this is the first time I have created and shared elevator pitches. And then later on you also created in the native language, which is Hindi. So amazing. Now the most important question, uh, of course we do these challenges and people go and experience, but what is most important is the result or the outcome or the impact. So if I ask you, what do you think has been the impact of participating in this challenge?
We become better human beings.
Wow.
We become better team players because one is doing the task. What about the community? You're receiving blessings. What about you giving to others? And CSH, Confidence Storytelling Hub, I could see there were people of all ages, younger than me, elder than me, very senior. So what Haritosh Srivastav has created is a miracle. We could see the power of a community. You giving hope, direction, clarity to youth, and seniors loving the joy of being there, being active for 21 days. So I could really see the power of a great community, and congratulations to you for creating this. For building this, for nurturing this.
Thank you so much, I really appreciate that. So the second last question for you is, uh, there are many people out there who are not sure about the journey to take, who are not sure whether they should really learn about building confidence or communication or learning storytelling. What is your message for them?
Nice clothes, make the payment, and just get on to the journey.
Okay, that was the next question, but thank you.
Because, uh, see, we all think, who learns communication? I've been communicating since my birth. But communicating with emotions, communicating with heart, communicating with self, communicating with the universe. So it may look outside that I'm talking to you, but I'm talking to my own self. I am my own student. I am loving the way I am evolving every day. I have started loving myself even Wow. So this is communication for me.
Amazing, lovely. So last question, you've been part of Confidence Storytelling Hub for a year now. Would you recommend others to join and why?
See, one is definitely the outer skills which is visible, which is promised by Haritosh Srivastav. You come here, you learn this, this, this, we have challenges. But two, which is invisible, is the inner magic which Haritosh Srivastav does not speak about. Could be spiritual growth, could be healing, could be cutting down of limiting beliefs, which happens automagically. So that is the key and that is a must. You may say, no, no, I am okay, I am sorted. We all come from that space, living in denial, living in ignorance. So come for inner growth. Outer growth is a result of inner growth.
True.
Your outer results are a printout of inner state— physical, mental, spiritual. So if you want to change your printout, just join CSH, because something inside changes. It's not about these challenges. It's not about being number one, scoring the maximum points. No, we are not in a race. But something happens inside. You just get into a habit of closing things, deleting the past, healing from the past. That is a real victory, and that is the reason you should be part of a great community like this, because community support heals. True.
Thank you so much, Saniji. And as you said, community support heals. I, I am a community man, if I may say, part of so many communities, and I think one of the best things that I did was created a community of my own. Because of that only I am able to connect with so many amazing people like yourself and others. So thank you for being part of Confident Storytelling Hub. Thank you for leading the challenge and thank you for showing that how it should be done. So really appreciate your leadership, really appreciate your contribution, and thank you so much. And as I say, story power to you.
Thank you, Haritosh Srivastav. Thank you, everyone.
Thank you. So that was Mr. Sunny Nagpal, or as we say, Smiling Sunny. The next person could be you. How you can be? Come and be part of Confidence Storytelling Hub, where every month we do a 21-day video challenge. And if you participate, you complete the challenge, I would love to spotlight you. I would love to interview here Not for me, but for you. I want you to get visibility. I want you to experience growth. So thank you so much for watching this interview. And as I say every time, until next time, keep learning, keep growing, and keep going out of your comfort zone. This is Coach Haritosh Srivastav. I'll see you in the next Finisher Interview.
