Hey, confident storytellers! Welcome to Day 4, or end of Week 1, of CSH Communication Blueprint Challenge. Over the last 3 challenges, you have worked on understanding yourself, creating a powerful first impression, and structuring your communication. Today, we are going to talk about one of the most powerful communication tools ever created. Stories. Because people may forget your advice, they may forget your presentation, but they will always remember a story which made them feel something. Think about your favorite speaker, your favorite teacher, or someone who inspired you. Chances are they didn't just give information, they told stories. Stories create emotion, and emotion create connection, and connection create influence. This is why storytelling is not just a speaking skill, it's actually a life skill. Many people tell stories, but very few know how to build one. Sometimes they keep adding details Sometimes they jump from one event to another. Sometimes they forget the lesson completely. A great story has a simple structure, and today I want to share with you one structure that I personally use and also teach to hundreds of professionals. It's called the 5C Story Framework. Let me start. The first C is the context. You want to set the stage. Where were you? Who was involved? Help your audience understand what's going on, what's the situation. The second C is the conflict. What challenges, obstacles, fear, or problem did you face? Every memorable story has tension. Without conflict, there is no curiosity. Number 3, the third C is called the cure, which means the what action did you take, who helped you, what decision changed the situation. This is where the transformation begins. Fourth C is the change. What changed because of your experience? How did you grow? What was different afterwards? And fifth C is the carry-out message. Finally, what lesson do you want your audience to take into their own lives? Because a story without a message is just entertainment, but with— but a story with a message can create Transformation. Let me give you a quick example. A few years ago, I was preparing for an important presentation. I had spent hours and hours preparing my content— context. But the moment I stood on the stage, I completely froze— conflict. Instead of giving up, I started practicing storytelling and communication every single day. Slowly my confidence grew, and today I help others become confident communicators. Change. And with this I learned confidence doesn't come from Sorry, confidence doesn't come before action. Confidence comes because of action or after an action. Carry out message. So I want you to— for today's challenge, I want you to record a 2-minute personal story using this 5C framework. And you can choose any real-life example. I am giving some examples. Examples, but feel free to choose any. It could be a failure that taught you something. It could be a career breakthrough. It could be a difficult conversation you had. It could be a leadership lesson you learned. It could be a mistake that changed you. It could be a challenge you overcome, and it— or it could be a decision that transformed your life. I don't want you to focus on being overdramatic. I want you to focus on being authentic, relatable, structured, and purposeful. Remember, people don't connect with perfect stories. They connect with honest, authentic stories. Also, while watching your community members' video, Ask yourself: Was the context clear? Did the conflict create curiosity? Was the cure believable? Was the change meaningful? And did the carryout message leave an impact? Then I want you to use the SPARK feedback framework to provide thoughtful and actionable feedback. Today, my friend, is a wonderful opportunity to know your team members and community members beyond their titles and profession. Because behind every person, there is a powerful story waiting to be heard. Watch each other's stories, encourage each other, celebrate courage. Because every story shared strengthens not just the individuals but the entire team and entire community. I'll leave you with one thought. People may remember what happened, they may even remember what you said, but what truly stays with them is the lesson they carry forward. So today, don't just tell what happened, Tell why it mattered, because your story could become someone else's turning point. I'll see you tomorrow for Day 5. Until then, keep working, keep refining. Story power to you.
