Do you know someone who always have the perfect answer? Like you talk to them, you ask them a question and they immediately answer and you wonder, has that person always been like that? I also used to be like that. I used to think that how can I give perfect answer? This is called impromptu speaking. And if you can master this one technique, it can really take you to the higher ladders in your career, in your business, or in your sales. So I'm going to tell you one technique in impromptu speaking, and that is called PREP or P-R-E-P. Let's say somebody asks you a question about your opinion. You start with P, which is what is your point. Then you go to R, which is a reason. Why do you think that point or that opinion is that? Then you give an example why this point is right for you, and then you end with your point. Let me give you an example. Let's say somebody asks you, do you think we should have outings on Friday? So you can say, I definitely feel outing should be on Friday because most of the people are relaxed and they are easy to go out. You know, last time when we went for outing on a Friday afternoon, it was so much fun and team really enjoyed. So I definitely feel that we should have the next outing on a Friday. Did you see the framework in action? Point, reason, example, point. So next time when somebody asks you a question or an opinion, remember the PREP technique.
