From Nervous Speakers to Confident Storytellers—Watch Their Transformation

The video is a multi‑speaker testimonial panel from participants of the 21‑day Confident Storytelling Hub challenge, led by coach Haritosh Srivastav. Six speakers (A‑F) recount their initial struggles—camera anxiety, lack of structure, perfectionism, procrastination, language barriers, and time constraints—and describe how the challenge’s daily video‑posting requirement, community support, structured guidance, and personal accountability helped them overcome these obstacles. They highlight concrete tactics (recording in unconventional locations, using gratitude to find stories, posting from a car, adopting a student mindset) and the resulting transformations: increased confidence, consistency, habit formation, clearer storytelling, shift from local (Bengali) to global (English) audiences, and a renewed belief that anyone can become a storyteller. The speakers also praise the platform’s continuous programming, personal attention from the coach, and the supportive peer community, urging viewers to join the hub for career and personal growth.

This was the time when me and my family, we had been to Vietnam for 15 days, and there we had been to various places. We were moving from one place to another place, either by road or by ship or by plane. So we didn't— in a day we were changing Many times we change 3 to 4 places in one day. So it was really a tough time for me that how to cope up with this challenge. But once again, I feel proud to announce that I did it. I did it. I remember I was literally recording my videos in bathroom, in kitchen, on airport. Near the swimming pool, but I did it. I did it and completed it.
I do remember my first story sharing. I was kind of person who was completely forgettable, you know, forgotten storyteller. I was not able to share my ideas clearly. I was not getting words, or like I was forgetting about my story, what I have to say. How I have to say it and what, what is the message I want to share.
Every day morning I reach office by 8 and leave by 10, so it was difficult to me to post a video, but somewhat I posted video. But I was looking story every day, I was looking some story and post a video. Then one day I found the reason. If we are grateful for the day then we get a story.
The day one was very tough to me, okay. Uh, in fact, I remember the day one I wanted to make a, you know, actually post a video. So what I did, I was like driving my car, I, you know, I halted my car on the roadside where there was no traffic. Then I started like actually, you know, shooting my video and I posted it. So that was experience for me day one and day two. Then day 3 onwards, I started like doing some kind of a content preparation. Okay, that was amazing. So it was a wonderful journey for me, to me. So I really enjoyed it. Okay, see, the reason being like, you know, why I enjoyed is that I took it as a passionate. I thought, you have been very poor, like you are not posting any video, and don't you have a basic skill to post a video? Look at the teenagers, look at the youths, they post video like any. It could be Reel or it could be any video, but what is stopping you to post it? Absolutely. This is a wonderful opportunity for you to like, you know, that brush up or like, you know, scale up, improve. So when this opportunity came, I took it, I grasped it. So that's how it started. Thank you so much. Before the challenge, I cannot do such a videos. Like, in fact, I would have a lot of hesitation and I would go on, go on, like, you know, preparing the content and, like, you know, remembering the word by word and, like, you know, trying to, like, you know, make up and all. I wouldn't do it. It would take probably 4 hours to make today.
I've been making videos for years, why do I need it? The truth is I really needed it. I've been making videos without structure. Oh, uh, I have not been part of many communities where, you know, with focus they are preparing content, with structure they are preparing content. So this challenge meant the world to me.
Thank you.
You wear a student's hat, you restart, it's a rebirth.
Amazing.
So the momentum, the spirit— because brains are different. Some need love and motivation, some need a structure like me, some need a self-belief, who are doubting, and some need just a direction so that they don't procrastinate. So this community, these challenges, give us everything. They can cut your limiting beliefs, they can give direction, they can remove procrastination, they can help you take a leap beyond perfectionism. So for me, it was very, very easy. I just needed the structure, and I took a leap. I celebrated effortlessly.
Yeah, the biggest problem of, uh, this challenges is to how to talk in front of camera. Earlier, I have a perception, and, uh, I had a practical experience also, because whatever I did I did either through one-to-one interaction, that is physical interactive meetings, one-to-one, or maybe one-to-others, all physical. Then when Zoom started during the COVID time, we are habituated to have a meeting in webcam through Zoom or Teams, but that also somebody was there virtually. Opposite to us. So we can have interact, we know whom we are talking. But during these challenges, it's very odd situations for me, because you have to talk in front of camera, which feels something odd to you. That is not so much familiar. And it means initially, if you do it, then only you can understand. Earlier you might have many perceptions about that, yes, it's not a big deal. But when you are actually facing it, then you will know the actual pain. And next problem is that I am unable to express myself. In front of camera, I become a robot from a human. I couldn't able to express myself. I don't know what is happening. To me, something has put on me and make me robot. So, that is the big challenge I faced during this journey.
This was my literally life-changing experience. Because for last number of years, I had a wish and will to upload videos, No doubt I have uploaded also, but none of my video was short, to the point, and for the specific purpose. Well, the biggest breakthrough was I got a different type of confidence in me that yes, I can also do, having my all other duties, having my all other responsibilities, especially having all other type of environment that I faced. But still, when I decided that I must do it, I did it. So, yes, if a person decides, he can do. And if I can do, perhaps anyone can do. So, that is the biggest point that came to me. And from that day, now—
For them.
There is one very important message that I would like to pass on to people, especially the young generation. Through your platform. And that is whether you believe or not, whether you accept or not, but tomorrow is the day where people want to see you, people want to believe you, people want to accept you. And that they will do only when, when you perform. By this time, I have already attended number of Toastmasters Club, plus I had been to a number of other platforms who are teaching this public speaking and all other things. But the best platform that I have experienced and I have found is the yours one, that is the Confident platform which you are running, for two reasons. First reason, that all the programs, they are continued either weekly or biweekly or monthly. And second biggest reason is You as an owner of this platform pay personal attention and help those who want to get involved in a much better way. So perhaps this is not possible in other programs. So for these two reasons, I strongly recommend anyone to join your platform if they want to have a shift in their career.
I feel that in this community you are going to improve a lot. Like, I can tell you, from day one when I was not able to utter even a single, uh, sentence in one go, I was fumbling, mumbling, and I was like completely blank. I don't— I was not aware what to say next. But today, like, without even preparation, on the spot, I can share stories. So that is the magic of learning from great coach Haritosh Srivastav and this wonderful community, Confident Storytelling Hub. So people, if you wish to be a great storyteller or to want a best communicator, come here. Let's learn from Haritosh. And yes, you're going to rock, no doubt in this.
Every day I said to myself, Wengat, all are busy in their activity, in their professional. No one is watching just to post a video. So that is the motivation created me to post on the video. Every time there is always fear of judgment and self-doubt. So I said to myself and create a content and post the video.
You are only as good as you can communicate. If we keep that in mind, it's like I can speak English, not a problem. But if I can't communicate what I want to say in the time frame that I have, or in a storytelling way, or a connection way, then it's of no point.
So I got confident now. No more I have incident that like, no, I need to remember this word, that word. The words naturally comes to me. I became more confident. So that is the biggest, like, you know, achievement I had. Then I developed a habit of consistency. Okay, whatever you do it, like, you should have a consistency. If you have to do, like, you know, post a video 21 days, you have to post a video. So that consistency of, like, a habit I developed it. And perseverance. Yes, I could see myself, I could do it anything. There are a lot of challenges to me. And most importantly, I could, like, narrate in only one word: confident. I got benefited by joining this LinkedIn Storytelling Hub. Okay, I got benefited. So there is no doubt about it.
We become better human beings, we become better team players. Because one is doing the task, what about the community? You're receiving blessings, what about you giving to others? Confidence Storytelling Hub. I could see there were people of all ages, younger than me, elder than me, very senior. So what Haritosh Srivastav has created is a miracle. We could see the power of a community, you giving hope, direction, clarity to youth. And seniors loving the joy of being there, being active for 21 days. So I could really see the power of a great community.
The impact of undergoing the challenges is, and for my future journey or endeavor, is that earlier I was a storyteller. But I used to tell my stories in my native language, that is in Bengali, and I have very limited, well, viewers or listeners. But my next challenge is from local to the global. Yes, so now I emphasize my storytelling in English so that I can reach to the global listeners or global audience. So my journey started from a local storyteller to a global storyteller. And this is just the beginning. The challenges you need to overcome is the 100% perfect syndrome. Yeah, disease. And the second thing is more bigger disease. It's called procrastination. Oh, yes, that is I will do it tomorrow. And the reality is that tomorrow never comes. So I have many things in my personal life, professional life, but because of this procrastination trap, I am not able to do many things. But when I joined this community, I broke these two challenges, and my journey started. So those who are thinking to be the next storyteller, so they must destroy these two big syndromes: 100% perfect syndrome and procrastination syndrome. There is a proverb in English, if you want to run fast, then run alone. But if you want to travel long distance, means if you want to travel far, then run together.
Yes.
So, if you want to travel long distance in storytelling, means as a storytelling area, so if you run, yes, you can run faster alone. But if you want to travel long, if you want to make some impact in this world, if you want to spread your legacy even after your death, then you have to work together. And the thing is, you need some supports, you need some listeners, you need some friends. Then only the journey is enjoyable. Then only when you travel the distance, you will not feel the loneliness. And you will feel encouragement. So those who are dreaming to be the good storyteller in the long term, those who want to make impact, those who want to spread some legacy,
