How not to freak out before your talk. We all have been there, freaked out just before we need to give a presentation, deliver a talk, or maybe record a video. How do we stop or at least control that? Hi everyone, my name is Haritosh Srivastav. I'm a public speaking coach, certified mentor, and bestselling author. In this video, I'm going to share 3 quick tips on how you can control your nervousness 5, 10, 20, 30 minutes before your talk. So let's get started. Number 1, affirmations and visualization. Having some positive affirmations like I'm going to do great, I'm gonna get this award, I'm gonna present my talk and people will appreciate. And also having some visualization, visualizing that, no, people are coming to you complimenting you for your talk, people are coming and telling how great your presentation was, can really smoothen your nervousness, can really make you comfortable. So try that out. Number 2, light exercise or meditation. Now, doing a light exercise like jumping jack can actually boost your happy hormones, which can stop you from freaking out. You can also try different forms of meditation and find out which one works best for you. So number 2 is light exercise or meditation. Number 3 is Listening to your favorite music and songs. Now, don't we all feel that when we listen to our favorite music, some power songs? And, and if you do that just before you're gonna deliver the presentation, it can really help you boost your confidence. So you can create a playlist, you can keep your songs ready before you are going to talk and play them and get that happy hormones running, and you will be able to kill that speech. So those were the 3 techniques that can help you stop from freaking out before your talk: affirmation and visualization, light exercise or meditation, and listening to your favorite music or songs. What technique do you use to stop freaking out before your talk? Please post it in the comments. I love to I love to read this.
