English speaking kaise kare mai? Kaise ek accha English speaker ban sakta hun? Main jambi logon se milta hun, bahut sare logon se milta hun, ye ek bahut hi common question hota hai. And I know mai aus journey se kuch jar chuka hun, iss liye iss video mein mai aap ko batane wala hun, woh sare cheez hai, jo main ek kood try ki hai and which has helped me tremendously. So stay tuned till the end. I was born in an English medium school. I went to Hindi medium school for 4 years. And now, if you know, I am right now in the UK. I have been doing art for 9 years, on and off, out of India. And it's a dream to work with people from all the different nationalities. And the biggest reason of all of that which happens is because I am able to communicate in English. Main English mein logon se baat kar baata hain. And this video ko bana nega purpose ke bilkul bhi nahi hai ki main Hindi ya jo bhi aapki local language, mother language hai, mother tongue hai, usko in any ways I am going to degrade that. We should be proud of what we are. Main apni bhasa pe ghar wohna chahiye. But agar aapko global Citizen, then you have to know how to communicate. Or vo, this video, so English speaking, let's say English communication, there are two things which is very, very important. One is the mindset and the other is the skill set. So let's first talk about mindset. Kyun jaludiye mindset? Bol sare logon ke paas bah sare misconceptions hai, bah sare cheez hai jo mare dimag mein bari gayenge jo ki shayad se hi nahi hai. Let's say for example, you have to be 100% clear with grammar, you need to know every word in the vocabulary. Not required. A study hui thi which says that if you know about 3,000 to 4,000 words in English language, you can communicate with over 95% people. So unless you are going to talk to intellectual in the Harvard Stanford, jo common English hai, most of do teen hazar word hain. Lagar aapne bo do teen hazar word jaandi hai, it is more than enough. Ek aur mindset hai, I am not born in an English-speaking karte, so it will be difficult. It's not like that. I've seen people who are born in English-speaking country who still struggle to communicate. So it is just a language, treat it like a language. Don't give this, and I know based on my own experience, based on my own background, People give lot more attention when you know English, when you can speak English, which is not fair, but this can be your unfair advantage. So understand that when it comes to learning a language, mindset is very, very important. You have to believe from inside that yes, I can. Yes, I can be a great speaker. Yes, I can communicate to the global people. Yes, I have what it takes to be an amazing English speaker. Abaat kartein skill set ki, mindset hogya, skill set ki likha chaiye. Video is in English, toh Hindi ki baat kartein. Apne Hindi kaise seekh ki? You were born and you were in an environment where you started listening, you started speaking, you started reading, you started writing. Exactly. Ye 4 aspect hoten jo kisi bhi language ko significantly important hoten. Yeh smi se jo hamari mother tongue hoti, mother language hoti, woh hum by default us environment mein hoten hai aur woh hum bohoti aaram se seekh lete hain. But when it comes to learning any language, English, French, ya koi bhi aur language hoti hai, we have to focus on all these 4 aspects. So let's talk about that. The first one is listening. Agar aapko ek acha English speaker ban na hai, if you want to become an excellent speaker, you have to first become an excellent listener, an excellent observer. And how do you do that? You start finding opportunity to listen. Na, aisee jagein koi jeeh hapyaap English aap sun sakta hai. You can listen to radio, you can listen to audiobooks, you can listen to podcasts. You can just go to a conference where you know nobody is there who will speak in any other language than the language you want to learn. So the first thing is start listening, train your ears. And this is very, very crucial when you're talking about listening to audience outside your country. We have different accents, we have European accent, or UK accent. Australia have a different accent. How do you train your ears? By listening. So listen to different types of content, different types of audio. The second one, which is going to be very, very crucial, I'm gonna say reading. I know when I say reading, a lot of people start getting that, ah, ek aur book par nahi padega. But really develop that. Very rarely it happens ki I'm not reading a book in any single day. It may be ki main paanch pagey par thaun, das pagey par thaun, Let me show you. Today I was reading this book I just started, which is called Someday is Today by Matthew Dix. It's amazing book, and he has his own background. So genre matter ni karta hai, and I would highly recommend ki aap aalag aalag genre parlo, non-fiction parlo, autobiography parlo, geography ke baaren parlo, politics ke baaren parlo. Background doesn't matter, konsa genre bhi matter ni karta hai. What matters is ki aap aalag aalag sources se partay Usse kya hota hai? Iktu aapka grasping power barta hai, aur dusra, aapki vocabulary zide zide build up hoti hai. You can go to dictionary, you can start doing 5 words, 10 words, 20 words a day. Most of the people can't sustain that for long, but if you start reading from different sources, it definitely increases your capacity to have that much words in your vocabulary. So this is where the second thing which comes into the picture, which is reading. And the third one is writing. I think you have learned English, right? I used to tell my friends, "If you don't write, you will forget everything." Start writing every single day, and it does not matter what you write. You can journal, you can write your thoughts, you can write on social media, you can write a poem, you can write a honey banana. It doesn't matter. Kya likh rahi hai? What matters is ki aap consistently rikh rahi hai, consistently write karte hai. You are writing every single day. This is not going to be a journey of days, hours, or months. This is a journey you have to undertake for years, and it's going to be a continuous journey. I am still learning about communication skills. I'm still learning about English speaking. This is— it is a never-ending journey, but to reach to a certain level, you have to at least spend 1 to 2 years to that. I know it's not fancy, it's not exciting. Exciting hamisha nahi karna hota hai, koi bar aapko boring kaam karna hota hai, toh aapko results nahi karo. Aur ab aati hai chauthi aur final speech, which is what we are talking about. Speaking. Speak. Find a group where you can speak. Kya let grammar bolte hai, does not matter. Words nahi aare, does not matter. Aagar problem ho rahi hai, English se bolna start karo. But bolna start karo. Start speaking every single day. If you're not able to find anyone, then speak to yourself. There are softwares available. You can use Udemy if you want to. There are other softwares where you can go and just practice and see how many filler words are coming, what is your rate of speech, konsa words hai jo ki which is not making sense. There are so many groups available where you can go and practice. There are apps available which you can go and download where you will be able to find options to interact with people. I remember in 2002, I was in Varanasi. Being 21 years now, very first time, I was preparing for engineering entrance exam. One thing I did that time which changed my life was, if you have ever been to Varanasi, there are so many ghats, so many banks, and there are a lot of foreigners. And every Saturday or Sunday, at least once in a week, I used to go and just randomly talk to a foreigner. And a lot of time I will not understand completely, a lot of time they will not understand me completely, but that built my confidence. So unless work environment, presentation, other matter, start finding opportunities to just interact with networking group. Online meeting ho rahi hai, join karo, but start speaking English. It's like a skill. That's why I said skill set and skill develops over time with practice. I wish you all the best. I can very confidently say that if you work on your mindset that yes, you can do this, this is what is possible and you are meant to do that, and work on your skill set where you are listening, where you are reading, where you are writing every day and you are communicating or speaking with people every single day, no one And I repeat, no one can stop you from becoming the speaker you deserve to be. As I say every time, until next time, keep learning, keep growing, and keep going out of your comfort zone. I'll see you in the next video.
