I Was Carrying Emotions I Didn't Realize Were Holding Me Back | Chetana's Story @Keytoempowerment

In this Finisher Interview, Chetna, a life coach and healer, shares her experience completing the November Mixer Challenge within the Confident Storytelling Hub. She explains why she joined the community—seeking guidance and a safe, non‑judgmental space to improve storytelling—and describes the challenge as a turning point that helped her uncover hidden doubts and emotions. Chetna highlights three core learnings: the importance of daily consistency, heightened self‑awareness of storytelling patterns, and a newfound recognition of her emotional intelligence and inner strength. She praises the challenge’s simple, layered tasks, especially the Day 14 “future vision” live huddle, which allowed her to envision her future and sparked excitement. The interview details the transformation she experienced—feeling lighter, more grounded, gaining camera confidence, authentic storytelling, clearer decision‑making, and moving from confusion to clarity. Chetna advises future participants to give themselves time, avoid rushing, stay consistent, and trust the process, emphasizing that the journey itself creates the shift. She strongly recommends the Confident Storytelling Hub and its monthly challenges as a self‑transformation experience for anyone ready to grow authentically.

Yes, my journey has been a mix of like self-discovery, healing, and rebuilding my inner strength. A lot has changed and shifted in me. I feel lighter, like more grounded, more in control of my thoughts, and this challenge became a turning point where I started understanding myself more deeply and creating shifts from within. I want to tell this, give yourself a chance and don't rush the process. I think everyone should experience this at least, at least once. It's not just a challenge, I would say it's a self-transformation experience. I felt it's really a safe space where we grow without any judgment.
Hey everyone, I hope you are enjoying the Finisher Interview series. We have just started releasing brand new interview of members who have completed the challenge, and in that challenge I have my next, next person who is a finisher who completed the November Mixer Challenge and who's going to be talking about her journey today. So let's get at it. I have Chetna with me. So, hi Chetna, welcome! How are you doing?
Hello, hello, sir. Thank you, thank you so much. I'm doing really great.
Awesome, good to have you. So let's get started. Tell us about yourself, a little bit about your journey.
Yes, my journey has been a mix of like self-discovery, healing, and rebuilding my inner strength. And I'm a life coach, healer. Like, before start— starting this challenge, I was like carrying a lot inside me, like doubts, like my, uh, camera, uh, like facing, and emotions. Like, I didn't even realize, uh, I was holding— like, it was holding me back. And this challenge became a turning point where I started understanding myself more deeply and creating shifts from within.
Like, yes, go a little bit back. So tell us, uh, when did you join Confident Storytelling Hub and Why did you join and how has that journey been?
Yes, I joined this community like in from November, like October I started this challenge from November. And yeah, it was really a great opportunity for me like joining this community. I joined the community because I was looking for the guidance, like clarity, like how I, we can, uh, tell our story like in a, uh, better way. Like just telling a story is something different than how we are telling it to, uh, people that attract them. And, uh, yeah, it— I felt it's really a safe space where, uh, where it We, we grow without any judgment. And I have been part of this community like for a while now. It has like almost one of my most supportive space. And yeah, I joined at a time when I truly needed this direction. And I'm so glad I took this step.
It's amazing, Chetna. So you joined in at the end of October and, and then you straight away got into the November Mixer Challenge and you did the 15 challenges. So now I want to know what has been your top learning, top 2-3 learning of going through the various tasks. So we had 15 different tasks, 15 different videos to be created. So what were some of your top learnings?
Like, first I would say like consistency. Like, to create the transformation, this consistency is very important. Like, even if I don't— I was not making the video every day, I was preparing something regarding this challenge. I was sitting for some time and I was giving time for this. I have been very consistent with that, like, like a small, like daily actions. And second thing is like awareness. It is the first step, like, like what we have to say and like in what way, like in what steps we are saying the story. —like everything, it matters. And once I understood my patterns, everything began to shift. And the third thing I would like to say that I learned that I'm stronger and more emotionally intelligent than I ever gave myself the credit.
When it seems like just creating a video and doing the scripting and recording, but There's something deeper, which is when you become aware of who you are, what you really stand for, and what you want to do. So that's amazing. I'm so glad it's coming again and again. So now if I ask you, there have been like, like 10, 15, 15 different challenges. What did you really like about the task in general, and what has been your favorite task in the challenge?
I loved that every task was really very simple. Like, it was powerful. Nothing felt like heavy or complicated. Each task pushed me gently, like, through, like, meaningfully. It was like peeling layers one by one, like one day at a time. Like in a way that, uh, didn't overwhelm me. And my favorite task was like, uh, like when we— it was the day 14 challenge where we, uh, said— where we, um, told about our future vision. Like we had to be— it was really fun for me. Like I could imagine where I where I am, where I would be in the next, in my future. Like, that was really my favorite task.
That's lovely. And yes, I remember that. And, and you can see the energy coming out of that video. So excellent job on that.
Happened in the live huddle from me. Absolutely.
Yeah, that was in the live huddle. So for the context to the audience, What we started, every month we are trying to innovate something and do something new. So one of the feedback that we received was that we want to do in a setup where it is live and people are also able to— members are also able to get feedback from other participants. So we started doing this live huddle. So every Tuesday, like, we do live huddle where I'll show them the prompt and then they will get time to prepare and then they will present and also get feedback. So that's what, uh, Chetna did for about Day 14 challenge, and I think that was mind-boggling. So now I want to ask the one of the most important question, and that is what has been the change? What has been the outcome of you completing this challenge? What really changed?
A lot has changed and shifted in me. I feel lighter, like more grounded, more in control of my thoughts, and the way I am facing the camera, and more authentic about my stories. And I have become more aware of my reactions and more confident in my decisions. And more aligned with who I truly am. It feels like I have moved from confusion to clarity.
Wow, that's a beautiful phrase, moving from confusion to clarity, and thank you so much for that. So now let's talk about the message and tips that you have for members who haven't taken up the challenge or A lot of members who start the challenge but they don't complete or finish the challenge, what would you like to give them as a message and tips?
Like, uh, I want to tell this: give yourself a chance and don't rush the process. Like, at the last moment, if you have not completed the challenge, uh, be consistent. Like, even if you are not making the video On that day, be prepared, preparing for something, and just show up every day with openness. Even if you don't understand everything in the beginning, we have to trust the journey. By the end, we will see the shift in ourselves. Like, it is everything about trust.
Absolutely. You have to, as I say, you have to trust the process and take the very next step. Don't worry about what will happen after 15 videos, I think. Just do the step that is required on that particular day. Awesome. Thank you so much, uh, for sharing that. So my last question to you would be, you've been part of Confidence Storytelling Hub for now almost month and a half. You completed the challenge. Would you recommend Number 1, joining Confident Storytelling Hub, and number 2, participating in these monthly challenges.
Yes, absolutely. I think everyone should experience this at least, at least once. It's not just a challenge, I would say it's a self-transformation experience. Uh, when you're ready to grow This is the place to start. Like, when you are very authentic about yourself, this is the place where you can, uh, be open about yourself. Yes, and I recommend this to everyone. Thank you so much.
What you said was very powerful because one of the core values or code of honor that we have is authentic storytelling. I, I know there are a lot of fake stories going around, people making up stories. Of course, there could be emotional story where you don't need to share 100 details, but it should not be a false story, fake story, or untrue story. So that's what we strive for, having authentic storytelling. And I'm so glad to hear from you. So thank you so much once again, Chaitra. Your journey is a testament that if you're taking consistent steps you can have the inner transformation and growth, and which can lead to much more, you know, self-acceptance and much more camera confidence, and more importantly, the impact that you want to create to the world. So thank you so much, and no, story power to you.
Thank you, thank you so much. The story power to you too.
