My name is Haritosh Srivastav and welcome to my latest podcast, Small Town Bigger Dreams. Now, if you are a subscriber to my YouTube channel and you know me, you know, last month On 8th December, I made two promises for year 2021. Two new initiatives that I'll be taking part of, especially coming in 2021. Number one, book authored by yours truly, Haritosh Srivastav. The next, having a podcast created in January 2021. So here it is. I am working on and I am committed to my promise. This is the podcast Small Town Bigger Dreams. Now, why this podcast? Now, uh, before I go to my story, I wanted to talk about that many a times I've got help, I've got assistance, I've got some wisdom from my mentors, colleagues, and friends, and many times I didn't. So as a person who belonged to a small town, who had his journey, I thought it is my payback time to the community, to the people who belong to the small town, to share my own knowledge and to also get some more wisdom from people. So this is the reason I am launching this podcast, Season 1 of Small Town Bigger Dreams. Now, what's my story? Well, let me take you to year 1994. On the roof of a small town house, two kids were looking at the sky. The elder brother says to the younger sister, do you see the white markings behind the aeroplane? Yes. Do you know this is the smoke that comes out when the aeroplane goes Okay, must be amazing to sit on one of those. You know what, one day I will be flying on those planes. So for the first 18 years, I belong to a small town called Jaipur, which is near to Varanasi. That's how I generally introduce that. But for the last 18 years, I have shifted 10 times in different cities, different states, and even 3 different countries. This big brother has flown over 50,000 air miles. So what has been my learning? What has been the lessons that I learned? That is this podcast all about. That is what I want to share, that the principles that have helped me, the mistakes that I have made, Maybe you can avoid that. So what the podcast format is going to be. So I intend to have a new episode every fortnight, keeping in mind my other commitment. So I want— I intend to make this podcast available every other Friday. Hopefully this will be a video as well as audio podcast. So you will see the video on YouTube and you'll also see the audio on various other podcasting platforms, including Apple, Spotify, Google, et cetera. So next, next episode, you can expect to be around 15th Jan, if everything goes well. Now, what all I will be covering, as I said, we will have some stories, some lessons, and I'll also intend to have some people who have either inspired me or who have made it big even though they belong to a small town, so that you get your inspiration. We also plan to have some more special shows. I'm not gonna reveal all the secrets at this time. So this is it for the introduction or the very first episode of Small Town Bigger Dreams.
