It's Not Accidental, They Took a Decision:Why Participation Changes Everything @rosorikaangom5372

In this finisher interview, Haritosh Srivastav chats with community member Rosorika Angam, a former IT infrastructure professional who transitioned to entrepreneurship and now runs two businesses. Rosorika explains why she joined the Confident Storytelling Hub—driven by a belief in the law of attraction and a desire to boost her communication and storytelling skills. She recounts her experience with the November Mixer Challenge, describing initial self‑doubt, the process of creating 15 video‑based tasks, and how she completed the challenge just before the deadline. Through the challenge she highlights three core learnings: 100% participation, staying alert to community updates, and maintaining a never‑give‑up attitude. She emphasizes how recording videos and the thoughtfully curated daily topics dramatically increased her confidence and self‑awareness. Feedback emerged as a prized asset, helping her grow personally and professionally. Rosorika advises current members to stick to their decision, participate fully, own the process, and see the journey through to the end. She strongly recommends the Confident Storytelling Hub and its monthly challenges to anyone seeking self‑growth, noting that changing oneself is the first step to changing the world.

Initially, to be very honest, I was not prepared. Though I was excited that I will get something out of it, and the crux of me coming to this community is number one learning is participation is very, very important. First of all, recording the video, okay, with whatever resources I have, and then, you know, whether I edit it or it's a, you know, instant recording and sending, that was amazing. I am loving myself more than ever. Wow, why? Because my confidence level has shoot up. It is not an accidental step that they took. They took a decision, you know, before even committing to be part of the community, they took a decision. And this is coming from the core of my heart because I see this is an amazing space for everyone who loves themselves and who believe in self-growth.
Haritosh Srivastav. Hey everyone, welcome to another finisher interview. One of the joy in my life nowadays is to celebrate the winners, and as you have seen with the last few episode of this particular series, I am back with another story. I'm back with another champion of the community who have completed this finisher challenge. So let's welcome Miss Rosorika Angam. Welcome, Rosorika. How are you doing?
Hey, Haritosh, thank you so much. I am doing awesome.
Awesome. So let's get started. Tell us a little bit about yourself and your journey.
Okay, uh, I come from IT sector, Haritosh. I have worked in the infrastructure, banking infrastructure domain for close to 16 years, and currently now I own 2 businesses. It's been more than 3 years that I am out of corporate and I'm in my entrepreneurship journey.
That's awesome, lovely. So I want to know, uh, why and when did you join Confident Storytelling Hub and how long this, uh, have you been part of the community?
Okay, so I don't know, Haritosh Srivastav, if you believe in this law of attraction. Okay, I, I am a big fan of law of attraction and I believe, and this is since childhood, And I was just thinking quite some time, you know, it's been high time that I should do something. I should, you know, creating more, uh, you know, my presence awareness in the social media and all those things pertaining to any of my businesses. And that's exactly when you came, you know, through Bina's, uh, community. And I was so, so excited because I was like, I was looking for something. I was literally seeking for it. And then you came as a, you know, token of gift, as an appreciation to be part of Bina's community. And that's how I started. And it was in the month of November, I remember. That's how I started the journey with you in the Confident Storytelling.
Awesome. And you were also part of the November Mixer Challenge where you created 15 different challenges. So I want you to talk a little bit about journey, because the way you started and then what happened in between, and the way dramatically you finished the challenge on time, just before the deadline. So I want to know about that, and then we'll talk about the learnings, etc.
Yeah. So initially, to be very honest, I was not prepared, though I was excited that I will get something out of it. And the crux of me coming to this community is I want to improve my communication skill. I want to create that impact by, you know, uh, but by the skill of, you know, to tell story, correct? Right. Because many a times when I tell things Through my story, people can connect to me, and that will give a beautiful impact to the person, whoever I'm connecting. That's why I wanted to, you know, shape myself. And the challenges, what I understood was, you know, I was not having the confidence, do you know, especially when we had this huddle call and impromptu, right? And many times you have also given a feedback that, you know, you said you are not prepared, but this is what you have done. And so That was a self-doubt, to be very honest. It was a self-doubt.
Awesome. And, uh, yeah, so now tell us about your top 2-3 learnings out of going through this whole challenge.
Okay, I would love to share that, Haritosh Srivastav. Uh, number 1 learning is participation is very, very important. 100% participation. Second learning that I understood is I should stay alert. Say for example, it's a, it's a community, it's a group where, you know, you might be sharing the updates and the changes in the challenges or the flow. And if I am not alert, if I am not aware, then what am I missing? It is me only, right? I am missing something and that will delay in my challenge or my progress or whatever it is. Okay, so staying alert in, in the community is very important. Second is, you know, Um, not giving up attitude. If I have started something, I should always have this attitude to go till the end, to finish it. This is something I have, you know, learned.
Very nice, I love that. Participating fully and then never giving up. And yes, you are a prime example because, yeah, I know you may send me the message. We had the deadline to close at 12 in the night and you completed around 11:47 or something, so Few minutes to go, so yes, don't give up. Yeah, it's not over till it's over, as they say. So awesome. So I want to now know, so there were about 15 different tasks. So what was the thing that you really liked about all the tasks in general, and what was one of your favorite tasks in the whole challenge?
First of all, recording the video, okay, with whatever resources I have.. And then, you know, whether I edit it or it's a, you know, instant recording and sending, that was amazing. That has shoot up my confidence and my energy level. And the second thing is the kind of topics that you have shoot to us. Oh my God, I just love each and every topic. The topic is so beautifully curated is what I felt. It was, it was not just randomly given for a sake of giving. You have put a thought process. I understood in my journey because every single day the topic was coming out very beautifully. So that was something I enjoyed.
Awesome. Thank you. And which one, if you have to choose, I know it's difficult, which one task was your favorite if you have to choose one out of all the 15?
Yes. Yes. Haritosh Srivastav, thank you so much for this platform. And something that I would take, you know, with me as my asset is the feedback part, because feedback is something that is going to help me in growing in my, you know, path, correct? I never get the chance to get feedback every day. Correct, and whenever somebody give the feedback, it is for my good, it is for my— so I will, you know, I would love to open my arms wide and embrace and take it because it is for my goodness. So this is something I like.
Absolutely, yes. Taking, giving feedback and taking feedback, both of them are an art, and, and that's what we are constantly striving. A lot of us are not open to receiving feedback, and a lot of us are also hesitant to give feedback. What if that person doesn't take in the right spirit? And but you're here in the community, I want to make sure that people are giving a balanced feedback. So you would have noticed that in, in this month's challenge, I've given a special incentive where if you give right feedback, you get some extra bonus points as well.
Yes, I love that.
So now my next question to you is about the outcome, because anything that we do The best way to measure is through the outcome. What changed? So what has changed in Rosorica after going through the November VEXER Challenge?
I am loving myself more than ever. Why? Because my confidence level has shoot up. And like I said, the topics that you have poured out and shoot out to us, it is making me more to know more about myself, my journey, my past journey, my future, my present. What is that I am looking for? What is, what was, what was me down the line? You understand, right? So it has helped me to know myself more so that I can work on myself. And this is an amazing thing, Haritosh Srivastav. This is what I understood.
Love that. And that word self-awareness. Now I've been doing a lot of these interviews and that word has been coming and popping out again and again because yes, at the surface level it does seem like, okay, you just have something to prepare and write and you create a video out of it. But it's when you dig deeper, when you start thinking and reflecting, that's where you become aware, wow, I didn't think it this way. So I love that perspective. So, uh, the second last question for you is, what is your message and tip for anyone? You know, there are hundreds of people in the community, but not everybody is participative enough. And there are a lot of people who start the journey, but they stop in between. They're not able to complete. So what are your tips and tricks for people to take up the journey and then pass through the finish line?
So like I said, the 3 things, correct? Stay alert, participate, and go till the finishing line. The same thing I want to tell here, because if they are here in this community, they are here for a purpose. They did not come just like that. Are you— it is not an accidental step that they took. They took a decision, you know, before even committing to be part of the community, they took a decision. So I would encourage each and every member, stick to that decision with a focus, participate 100%, and own the process, love the process, follow the process, and try to, you know, be there till the end. This is a message I would like to give to every members in the community.
Thank you so much, Sarika. So last question for you is this. I love asking this question. You've been part of the community for about 1.5 months now. You also completed one of the mixer challenges. So would you recommend Confidence Storytelling Hub and taking up these monthly challenges to others outside?
I would highly recommend, and this is coming from the core of my heart, because I see this is an amazing space for everyone who who love themselves and who believe in self-growth, because self-growth is, uh, the starting point of everything. I cannot change the world, Haritosh Srivastav, but I can change myself, and this is one platform where I can change myself.
I love that, thank you. And yes, when you change yourself, you start changing the world. The change always starts from within. So thank you so much, Rosarica. You have been a leader and role model for others, not only about being consistent but also not giving up Many would have left that, and I've seen that again and again, that yeah, it's last date, I'm still not there. But you had that attitude, you said that I'm gonna complete it no matter what, and that is the quality of a winner. So congratulations once again, thank you for being part of Confidence Storytelling Hub.
Thank you so much, Haritosh Srivastav. Thank you so much.
