Good morning everyone, welcome to another StorySpark session. Welcome Arshad, good to see you here. So this is the short session that we do every week, every weekday, or every day to have a quick success and sometimes also learn a new concept. So today we are in the week 2 of Storython where we are working on building mindset. So another tool that I want to tell you all is about the concept of gratitude journal. You see, when we express gratitude for what we have, it gives us lot of confidence. That how can I express my gratitude? How I can be so grateful for all the things that happen? And one of the tools is called gratitude journal. Which is basically you start writing down things that you are grateful for. So this is what we are going to do today, is I am going to give you a format, and I want all of you who are joining, and if you are watching on video, do it even if you are watching on video, to spend a few minutes writing down the gratitude journal in the format that I show you. So I'm gonna share my screen. And you will see the format, and I'll give you some examples for that. So, format— let me just pause this. So the format is this: you are going to take your pen and paper, and you are going to write in this format: I am truly grateful to the— now you can use Almighty God, you can use Universe, You can use whatever, whatever energy you believe in. It doesn't matter which one you take, but it should be coming from inside. So I write this, I write as, I am truly grateful to the Almighty God. You can write, you can, I am truly grateful to the universe, or whatever it is, for, and then you write down a few reasons. So what we are going to do is we are going to now spend a few minutes writing down. So I would say next, uh, what is the time? 6:02. Okay, we are gonna spend around 3 minutes to writing down about 5 to 10 things. So every sentence will start with, I am truly grateful to the Almighty God for all the— for this beautiful life that I get to live. I'm truly grateful to the Almighty God for the health that I have, which allows me to do amazing things in life. So this is how we are going to do. So for next 3 minutes, and once we finish this, I'm also going to ask you to share if you are comfortable here in the group. So everybody clear with the task? Venkat, are you clear what we need to do?
Yes.
Okay, thank you. Rajesh, Harsha, are you clear? Sir, yes sir, Haritosh Srivastav. Okay, thank you. Venkat, how about you? Are you clear? Yes, yes, Haritosh Srivastav. Okay, so let's get started. Let's spend next 3 minutes writing down things that we are grateful for. So I'm gonna play a music and, uh, yeah, just write down between 5 to 10 things and we'll come back after 3 to 4 minutes and we'll also share in the group, uh, what did we write down. Okay, let's get started. Last 30 seconds. All right, so let's start. Uh, I'm going to share one that I write, and I often write gratitude journal for about 5-10 things. So one of the things that I generally write is that I am truly grateful to the Almighty God for this beautiful, blessed, and blissful life I get to live, right? Uh, the last one— I wrote 4, but I'm gonna just put the last one that I put— is I'm truly grateful to the Almighty God for having a supportive family, friends, and a community who stand by me. Awesome. So let's go around the room and let's start with Harsha, who joined first. So Harsha, what did you write, if you are comfortable to share? I am trying to— I am truly grateful to the universe for giving me good health. Very nice. Second one is education. The— read the whole sentence. Just say, yeah, I'm truly grateful to the universe for giving me books, good books, good books. Yeah, I am truly grateful to the universe for giving me, uh, my favorite bike, bike, bike. Yeah, yeah. I am truly grateful to the universe for giving me technology, that is PC, personal computer, and laptop. Very nice. And smartphone. Very nice. So are you— or there's more? That's all. That's all. Okay, everybody write story power to you, SPTY to Harsha. Thank you for sharing. Now let's go to Rajesh. After that, you can share what did you write in your gratitude journal.
Yes, good morning, Haritosh. Good morning, everyone. So this is: I'm truly grateful to the Almighty God for all the blessings in my life. I'm truly grateful to the Almighty God for blessing me with a helping and supportive family. I'm truly grateful to the Almighty God for blessing me with wonderful and amazing mentors. I'm truly grateful to the Almighty God for blessing me with happiness, wisdom, and clarity in my life. I'm truly grateful to the Almighty God for blessing me with all the skills required to grow and shine in my life. Thank you.
Amazing. SPTY to you as well. Awesome. Thank you for sharing, Rajesh. Okay, let's go to Venkat now. So Venkat, what did you— Yes, good morning to all. I am truly grateful to the Almighty of the God for guiding me throughout my journey. I am truly grateful to the Almighty of God for my parents. I am truly grateful for my coach, Mr. Haritosh Srivastav. I am truly grateful for my master providing great knowledge about my body. I am truly grateful for God for giving today. Thank you. Awesome, awesome. Everybody write SBTY, story power to you. So here is a question: how did you feel after you go through this gratitude journal? For all of you, let's start with Harsha. Yes, it is an experience, good experience. In the early morning, it is a positive feeling and it will continue the whole day. Yes, exactly. Very good attempt from you. Thank you, thank you. How about you, Rajesh?
Yes, when you— whenever, uh, gratefulness is that you get the feeling of thankfulness. You start feeling that you have more than enough. It is not that, uh, you don't have abundance in life. You start automatically, you start feeling abundance because it make you realize, yes, There's so many things for which you really have not put in so much, so much efforts, but you have got it by the grace of God, by the grace of parents. But yes, it is, uh, the— it fills you with the, uh, feeling of happiness, thankfulness, and gratefulness towards the universe, towards your people around you.
Absolutely, very nice. Thank you, beautifully articulated. Yes, Venkat. Yes, uh, particularly me, I forget about my blessings. I am always thinking about lacking skills, lacking abilities. So this remember me to think about my blessings. Yes, gratitude is said to be the antidote of stress. So anytime you're feeling stress, you are too tense start counting your blessings. It will change your, not only your feelings, but your body language, your thought process as well. So one of the key tools in building your mindset is shifting your focus from what all you don't have to what you already have, and that will change the thought pattern to get into the mode of abundance, as Rajesh beautifully said. So that was Story Spark session. Thank you, Alka ji, for joining. We just did a journaling session where we went through one prompt. So I'm just going to share for you once again for a minute because you just joined. So we went through an exercise where we basically did the journaling in this format. I'm sharing my screen for you once again so you can also do. And for those watching on video, you can also take a minute and just use this format that I use that I am truly grateful to the Almighty God, Almighty Energy, or whatever that you believe in. And then write down few sentences. So that's, uh, yep, SPTY everyone, Story Power to you all. So that was Story Spark session. We have resumed the session, so we will continue to have these mini teeny tiny sessions every morning so that you get the power start to your day. Thank you so much and have a great day. See you tomorrow with another StorySpark session. Thank you, thank you all.
