All right, welcome everyone to day 3 of Story Spark session. And for the last 2 days, we have been working on the mindset part of it, and today we are going to take it one notch further and we are going to take a concept which is very, very sensitive as well. I want to, uh, give a small warning that if you're not feeling comfortable because some of these recordings go on YouTube. Please tell me in advance so that I can stop recording so that it doesn't go anywhere. So today's session is called Vulnerability Power. It means that a lot of time we feel that vulnerability stops us. If we become vulnerable, it is going to show that we are weak. But if we take it in the right spirit. It is about telling your truth, and when you share your truth, it can be one of the most empowering things for your audience, for your coaches, for your mentees. So that's what we are going to do. Get your pen and paper ready because I am going to play the music and also give you some prompts, and I want you to write down what comes to your mind when I share these prompts, maybe a story or something will come by. And then if you are comfortable, we are going to share that after the session is over, and we'll end up with another powerful affirmation. So let me share the music.
Sorry to interrupt you, Haritosh Srivastav. Actually, last 2 seconds internet connection. Can please, with half a minute, can you please share me what exactly is going on? Extremely sorry for that.
Sorry, no problem. So I'm going to, um, I'm sharing some music and I'm going to give you some prompts and I want you to write down what is coming into your mind. Do not be judgmental and biased about that. And I will also put it in chat in case you are not able to hear me properly. So I'm gonna read as well as type it in the chat. First prompt is, what is one moment that you usually do not share or you hide with others? Put it in the chat as well. What is one of those moment? Again, as I said, Use your own discretion, and if you're not comfortable sharing, do not share it. Or if you want me to stop recording while you're going to share, that's also possible. The question is, why this one incident or moment makes you uncomfortable? So Rajesh, he just joined. So for Rajesh, we are doing a session called Vulnerability Power, and there we are going through certain prompts. So the first prompt is, what is that one moment you usually hide or avoid sharing with others? The second question is, why does it feel uncomfortable? Deeper, you visualize yourself there. And I want you to go actually a little bit deeper on that and feel what was the learning, what was the teaching about that moment that you get out of the life, out of that particular incident. Give you another minute to write down. I'll repeat the question one again— questions once again. So what is that one moment that you typically hide or avoid sharing? Why it makes you uncomfortable? And what is that one moment— what is that moment teach you about life or yourself in general. Other 20 seconds. So I'm going to start by sharing one of my own, uh, vulnerable story, and then I'm going to ask if you're comfortable to share yours. So one of my vulnerable story, which I have outspoken many times now, was when I was growing up, I was studying from Hindi medium, and, uh, once I was playing with one of my distant relative or friend, and this aunt came And she kind of brushed me off and said that, "Do not waste your time spending with this particular person," which is me, "because this person is not going to do anything in life." And that really hurt. And I was like, "What is my fault? Why can— how can somebody be so cruel?" And yeah, suddenly be so, so cruel. Actually, there's no other word that I can think about at this point of time. And that made me That took me a long time to come out of it, but now in many of my keynotes and sessions, I talk about that because I believe a lot of us go through these judgments and bias without any fault of us. So that's my personal story. Now I'm going to ask if any of you want to share yours. And learning for me out of this incident was that now you have to own who you are regardless of what people think. And what people do to you. Because if you don't own yourself, nobody else is going to own you. So that's my vulnerable story, and which is my power as well. Uh, I'm going to now ask, uh, Sachin Ji, do you want to share any story that you have?
Yeah, thank you for this beautiful session. Um, sometimes what happens, you know, we don't share— I hope I'm audible. Okay. Am I audible?
Yes, yes, you are.
Okay, sometimes what happens, you know, we are not always comfortable sharing everything with the family members. Yes, with the, with the thing that probably the kind of intensity what we feel about that moment, good moment I'm talking about. Okay, suppose you have won some kind of award, probably they may not feel that much intensity, or probably they may not show it also. It can be hurtful in that sense. I know it's— I don't know it's a good thing or bad thing, but the lesson what we learn is that that openness in relationship is also equally important. That's what lesson I have learned, because many times, you know, generally, as you rightly mentioned, many times we have got some kind of past. People insult you, people talk bad things about you, that kind of thing. The attitude is exactly probably what you went through. I think most of the people go through that phase. 80 to 90% feel that. Suppose, uh, I was a normal student in school, 40, 45%, 50%, okay? So what happens, you know, people generally, it is said that you have to sit with the clever students only, you have to make friendship with the, with the good, somebody is good. But let's say one can, one may not be good in studies, but one can be good in other areas also. He may be good in craft, he may be good in bongole, he may be good in drawings also. So one lesson which I've learned after, after so many years, that you have to make friendship with everybody Everybody's got his own capability because it's not— none of them sitting over here, any all over the world, now doesn't have any quality. Everybody has got some quality. The only thing is some people express it and do full justice to the talent, and some people know— they know they have the talent. Somebody is required to bring out of that talent. Currently I'm passing from that place. Some people are bringing best out of you. I never thought I can speak little bit what I'm speaking currently. But what last 6 months, 8 months, the person who is guiding me has got the best out of me. So it helps us to come from the comfort zone to uncomfort zone, as you say. This is what lesson I learned. Be open with the people and share with the mentor. Whom are you considering the mentor? Age is irrespective part. It can be 20 years old also, or it can be 120 years old also. Only thing that what I've learned So be open with all the relationship, try to maintain, because everyone got beautiful qualities. That's what I feel. Back to you, Haritosh Srivastav.
Thank you so much. And everybody type SPTYU, Story Power to You. Absolutely, you need to be open in your relation, and especially with your mentors and coaches, because they can guide you to the next step. Okay, Alka Ji, are you comfortable sharing any story or incident? Unmute yourself.
Yes, actually there are a lot of things which I don't like to share with everybody, but I make fun of myself. But then when I make fun of myself in front of my, my children, they, they use it as a weapon to penalize me in a very weak moment. So I don't know what lesson to learn from that, but I still do it because somewhere I find it is my mistake. I'll give you an example. It's about cleaning the room, my own room. So my books are a little scattered because I'm reading and I'm writing a book. So I don't like to keep my books away, and I don't like to put them away neatly in different places. Somebody will— something will be— this is my Zoom room. Some places I'll keep my books here, some places my books will be on the bed. So I'd like to keep it like this. And my daughter-in-law will say, what is this mess, Mama? You live in such a mess. And what is this aquas and all that. So I told her, don't come to my room. But the baby comes to my room and they come and they play. So I put the things away little to the side and all that. So the other day my son came to me and he said to me a very hurting sentence. And the sentence was that—
I need to pause the recording. I'm okay to do that.
He said that what started—
Awesome, thank you so much, Alka ji. Uh, Rajesh ji, do you want to share anything that you are comfortable sharing?
Yes, Alka ji, like, uh, I'll not say thank you for sharing, but yes, more power to you, and it is really courageous to share all these things in front of everyone. So, and yes, I know these moments are there in everyone's life, and yes, we have to be strong at all those moments. Thank you for sharing it. Okay, yes, I wanted to share. Yes, uh, I always feel I always avoid to share my failures and pains with others. A reason behind the same is that, yes, people are going to judge me, and I don't want people have that right to judge me. I feel that, uh, now, like earlier I was very weak into it, but now I'm strong enough to understand. Let people judge whatever they feel. It is— everyone has their own powers, and we should focus on our own powers. If someone has X quality, we have Y quality, we may have X plus Y quality. So let's not compare ourselves with others. Let's be unique in our own, um, this thing. The way Elka ji shared, yes, there are moments when people at home, they judge me. There are so many incidents, but I just forget. I don't keep anything in my mind, so there's nothing to share in right now. But yes, now I, I know that let's not, uh, judge ourselves by the wordings of others. Always bring positivity in our life and just focus on our own goals. That's, that's it I wanted to share.
Thank you.
So yes, story power to you as well. Everybody type SPTY for Radheshi. And now we are going to go to our daily affirmation. I kind of like that And I've also taken some feedback yesterday with Sachin ji. So we're going to do an affirmation, and that affirmation will also— see, you will be able to see that on your screen below my video so that you can repeat in the next round. So the first affirmation is, my truth is my strength. Everybody please unmute and let's say together.
My truth is my strength.
My truth is my strength.
Awesome. The next one is— just update— my wounds carry wisdom.
Everybody, my wounds carry Wisdom.
The last one.
You are not spotlighted, I think.
Some technical challenges are there.
Through courage, not perfection. Now everyone together.
I connect through courage, not perfection.
Story power to you.
Story power to you.
Thank you so much, everyone. And if anybody wants to share anything, any powerful moments, anything that you experience, let's go through quick sharing, and then we'll call it a day. Let's start with Sachinji.
Good introspection. Such moments help us. So many moments come in our life. Thoughts are powerful. And right now, Ajiji mentioned that one, no need to forget image. One should have capability of forgetting. Forgetting is an art which is very difficult. For such moments helps us. Need to derive the best out of it. Good, very good introspection. Thanks, Haritosh Srivastav, and deepest gratitude to you for bringing the best out of us. Thank you. Back to you, sir.
Thank you so much, Arjunji. Elka ji, quickly.
Yeah, I think what you're doing is very beautiful because something is peeling inside of us. That peeling is very important in life. And what I realized is that we shouldn't take anything personally because the same thing I asked my husband, my husband said, oh, come on, he has this habit of saying anything, just don't bother about it. Like what Rajesh said, forget about it. So that is what it is, the difference between a girl and a boy. Thank you for the platform. Thank you very much.
Yeah.
Yes, you.
Yes, yes, Haritosh Srivastav, that it is a great starting of the day, intercepting yourself. And, uh, I will feel that by remembering our weakness to become more strong, this is what I feel. So that moment realize you, yes, you are enough strong to go ahead in life.
Thank you, thank you so much. So yes, your vulnerability is equal to your power, and story power to you. Thank you so much. That was day 3 of Story Spark session. So we'll meet again for day 4. Have a wonderful day ahead. Tell great stories, learn great stories, and feel and spread positivity everywhere.
Haritosh Srivastav, do you have sessions Sundays also? We are going to conduct sessions on Sundays as well.
Friday, Friday, Friday.
We're going to have session on Friday, obviously. Friday. Sunday also you have sessions?
The Sunday ones will now happen on Fridays. Okay, so Saturday, Sunday, other things are happening. So I wanted to make sure that I'm doing it at least once in a week. Then we'll also have things like Storython after 15th April. So a lot of things happening, uh, but yeah, I'm keeping weekend for something else, so that is why. These sessions will happen on Fridays around 7:30.
I'm in the morning sessions. 6 o'clock session we have Sunday. You have what on Sundays also? Morning 6 o'clock sessions?
Uh, no. So it's on Friday evening, probably 7:30 onward. So I will, I will share in the group.
Yeah, thank you for changing the timing. Sunday was becoming difficult for me to attend. Thank you so much.
For many people it is difficult. And so yeah, thank you so much, and I'll see you tomorrow.
Bye.
