In this presentation, the speaker shares findings from interviews with over 25 members of the Confident Storytelling Hub, highlighting seven recurring patterns that distinguish successful storytellers and personal‑brand builders. The insights include: (1) taking action without waiting to feel ready, (2) showing up consistently even when progress is slow, (3) overcoming self‑consciousness and creating content regardless of camera‑readiness, (4) investing financially and emotionally in personal development and community, (5) prioritising storytelling over merely showcasing skills, (6) assuming personal responsibility for one’s growth, and (7) persisting long‑term, exemplified by members producing 100+ videos in six months. The speaker ties each insight to concrete examples—late‑night videos, bathroom recordings, a ₹25 lakhs personal investment, and a global community of 150+ members across eight countries—then invites viewers to join the Hub to accelerate their own confidence, speaking, and storytelling journeys.
Chapters
Over the last few months, I have had the privilege of interviewing more than 25 members from our Confident Storytelling Hub community. Different backgrounds, different profession, different life journey. But something interesting happened. Even though they came from a different journey, there were certain patterns that were visible. So in this video, I want to share 7 things that stood out across those achievers. And if you are building your confidence, career, or personal brand, you may want to listen carefully because these are the game changers that can help you get there. Number 1, they didn't wait to feel ready. I've had many, many people I met who said that, okay, I'm not yet ready. I don't feel ready. I don't have time. I don't have this. But these achievers, even they had life happening to them, but they change it to life happening for them. So no matter what obstacle they happened, they ensured that they are taking action, whether it's creating video late in the night or early in the morning. Somebody created video in the bathroom, somebody created video while he was on an international trip. They didn't let any excuses take over. And if you are somebody who wants to grow, that's the attitude that you need to have, that you don't want to feel ready, you just get ready and start taking action. Number 2, they showed up consistently even when results were slow. I could very clearly notice a pattern where many of these people were not able to see any visible improvement in a matter of days, but they didn't stop Anyway, they kept on working, they kept on trying, they kept on experimenting, they kept on innovating, and that's when challenge by challenge their confidence grew. They were able to have that self-acceptance and self-love that we all are looking for. So if you're somebody who wants to grow, this is one mantra that you want to do, that you want to show up consistently even when you're not able to see visible results, immediately. Number 3, this is huge. You see, a lot of these 25 members are women, and initially they were self-conscious, but they took that pledge that no matter how do I look, whether I'm camera ready or not, I am going to do what is required from me. So whether it's little bit croppy and choppy video Whether it's the sound is not perfect, whether the sequence is not perfectly aligned, they showed up anyway, and that's what made the difference. Number 4, and this I can resonate deeply from within, having invested more than ₹25 lakhs in my own learning, in my own personality development, in my own growth, I could see that each and every one of these 25 members were willing to invest in themselves. They're willing to get the guidance. They're willing to pay to be part of a community. When you invest in yourself, when you enroll for a learning program, you make the best use of your money. So if you have not invested in yourself in last few days, few weeks, few months, or few years, you might want to introspect and see what is it that I am missing., and the good chance is that you might be missing being part of a community like ours, Confidence Soldering Hub. Number 5, it's obvious but not so obvious. A lot of time when you get into such challenges, you end up talking about your skills, but they focus on stories. Because when you can tell captivating stories, your skills may take a backseat. Recently having this guest session in one of the premier institute, and I said there that if there are two candidates having the same capability, the one who can articulate better have got slightly more probability of getting selected. So whatever you do, whatever challenges you undertake, make sure that you're making storytelling as a part of it. Number 6 is they took responsibility for their growth. No coach, No tool, no process can help you if you don't take responsibility of your own growth. They may guide you, they may at times nudge you, but beyond that, it is you. Yes, it is you who need to take action. So unless until you take responsibility for your own growth, nobody is going to help you. And these champions, they took it upon themselves to learn, to grow, to create, to share, to distribute. And that's where they were able to see the results that they have got. And number 7, they kept going longer than most people even do. I know some of the members have created over 100 videos in last 6 months. One zero zero, 100+ videos. And they are the one who are always asking, What— when is the next prompt coming? What else do I need to do? So these members are the ones who kept on going longer than most people can even think about. So these are the 7 introspection insights that I found, the pattern that I could note when I interviewed these 25+ achievers in our community. And if you're someone who wants to be an achiever, if you're somebody who wants to grow in your journey of speaking, storytelling, and public speaking, consider joining Confident Storytelling Hub, where we have 150+ members from 8 countries, all with a single purpose— to own their voice, to share their authentic true stories with the world.
