sciatic nerve floss

Curb Ivanic demonstrates sciatic nerve flossing to ease burning or shooting leg pain. The technique has three parts: bend and straighten your leg, then point your toes up and pull them back toward your head, then combine both motions. Do ten slow reps per part, several times a day.
Okay, so this is a video to.
Go over the nerve stretch.
So when you're having some issues up.
High in the hamstring area and you're.
Getting some burning or shooting pains down.
The legs, that's most likely something to do with the nerve. Getting pinched isn't the most accurate description, but I'll use the word pinched. So this is a technique called neural flossing. So it'll work on that sciatic nerve that becomes a plantar nerve. It'll kind of. Kind of stretch out that neural component, those nerves that come down the back of the leg.
Okay, so you want to get set.
Up, laying on your back, have one knee. So the leg you're going to stretch, the knee is going to be bent, have your hands behind your knee. Then there's three parts to this. Okay. Part A is working on hamstring. Part B is then with the leg extended. And part C is A and B combined.
Right.
So it looks like this over here. So you can see my foot. Right. So here. And then what you want to do is extend and then come back down. So all you do is straighten out the leg. It doesn't have to go completely straight, but you straighten and bend. Straighten and bend. Part B is with the leg extended, point your toes to the ceiling and pulling back towards your head, point them to the ceiling, pulling back towards your head, back and forth like that. Okay, Part C is you do both of those. So you start with the toes pointing up, the knee bent, Then extend the knee, point the toes, pull the toes, come back down. Okay, so it's extending the knee, pointing the toes, pull the toes back as you bend the knee back down. And so you can try that.
Do about 10 reps for each of those. So 10 reps. Part A, 10 reps. Part B, 10 reps. Part C. Go nice and slow. Controlled, deliberate motions. Supporting the toes, pulling them back, extending.
The leg, bending the knee.
Yeah, you don't have to go too fast, but under control. And you can do, you know, a couple of sets of those.
You can do it throughout the day.
As well and see if that gives.
You any relief on that in that hamstring area and anywhere down the leg. And you should feel some relief, diminishment of some of those symptoms.
Try that out and let me know how it goes.
