A haircare demo by Janine Jarman focusing on curly-hair wash-day techniques and product application. Janine explains applying products to wet hair, layering specific products (magic spell spray, enhanced curl cream, dolly potion foam), using tools (wet brush, cotton T-shirt/microfiber towel) and styling actions (finger-coiling away from the face, scrunching to 'wake' curls) to build moisture, control, volume and cast while minimizing frizz and damage.

Magic spell. You can see my hair is still very wet, so I don't absorb the moisture off. Because you want to apply product to wet hair. Think of it like trying to put soap on a dry sponge. It's not going to absorb and like evenly distribute, but a damp sponge, it's going to use a lot less product and it gets evenly worked through. Same for curly hair and products. So magic spell, convenient trigger. You can close it and open it for travel. Yes, I did that. And get it sprayed all throughout. You can. You're gonna be. This is the one. Out of all the products you're gonna use the most often. Let me get that all sprayed throughout. And then I'm going to do enhanced cream. This is going to give me moisture and control. I'm going to do just a little bit again. I know I don't wash my hair frequently. Most curlies don't and shouldn't. So I don't need a ton, a ton of products. These are pretty rich and dense products so that you don't need a ton of it. So I did like two and a half pumps raking it all through my hair now. So that's for. Right. Enhanced curl cream, moisture control now. And I, I have nothing on my hair to start with, so I need to like layer them all up. Really build that cast, build that moisture, build that shape. Now I'm going to go in with dolly potion. This is our volumizing lightweight foam. Also anti humectant cast. So I'm going to do that all over and very rarely will I use all the products in one day. But I tend to do it the first wash day to like get, get my, my product built back up so that I have control the memory and hydration and all the things. Using a wet brush, I'm going to brush it all through my super weird natural part. And then I like to get. Everyone's going to be different too. You got to like listen to your hair and get to know it. I like to finger coil that curls away from my face. And I'm, I'm a like pretty lazy finger finger coiler. I'll just do a couple. I mean if I kept going and did my whole head, it would look great. But I also like my hair kind of disheveled and piecey. But I do hate when it's like all on my face. So I always coil those away from my face. Now I'm using black T shirt that I slept in, a cotton T shirt, microfiber towel, no regular bath towels. And I'm going to pile it up and scrunch, and you'll see it wake those curls up. This is really, really important step. If you're getting dragged out curls, it's because you're not waking them up. And every day you'll see my hair goes flat, goes frizzy. I wet it, add more product, scrunch it, and wake it right back up. So it is different than when I would style my hair straight, but it's so much easier and so much healthier. It's the healthiest my hair has ever been. Wearing my hair curly, wearing out my neck, my natural texture. So there you go. And I'll let you know what it looks like when it's all.
