Hey, I'm thinking about another question. I was wondering if you could help me out with some attic insulation and whether or not I should do it myself or should I hire a pro to do it?
Hey, I get where you're coming from. You can definitely learn about attic insulation online, but doing it as well and fast as the pros is tricky. Like I said, Adam's buddy took 3 days for what we do in 3 hours and probably didn't save much money either. If you want it done right and quick, hiring a pro is usually the way to go. What's got you leaning one way or the other?
Well, I'm thinking like time versus money. Like, I just don't know if I can save a bunch of money by doing it myself or if it's just gonna, you know, waste time and I'm better off just going to work and making money and then, you know, hiring somebody to do it for me.
That's a smart way to look at it. Time really is money, and if your hours are better spent working and bringing in a paycheck, sometimes hiring the pros makes the most sense. Cutting corners to save cash up front, but burning days figuring it out rarely pays off in the long run. What kind of timeline are you thinking for the attic work?
Well, I'd like to get it done before it gets cold out again, so I probably only have like 3 or 4, maybe 5 days.
All right, with just a few days to get it done before it gets cold, that pretty much rules out a DIY stretch if you've got a full attic to do. Hiring a pro will get you done fast and right so you're not stuck catching cold while figuring it out yourself.
