I'm Curt from Beyond, and these are our most trusted advisors. Hi there, my name is Curt, and I am here with Kyle, um, and I'm asking him which services our customers trusted us the most with this last year, 2025.
Uh, we were trusted with a lot of repair work and a ton of re-roof work. Um, by and large, re-roofs was our number one item this year.
Cool. So with re-roofs, kind of unpack that a little bit. What are you walking into seeing, and then what are we doing to help solve those problems?
So typically we're encountering businesses and/or homes that are encountering a lot of leak issues, water concerns on the inside, possibly mold, rot, that kind of damage, and then they're trusting us to fix that for them. In some cases we can get away with a repair, in other cases we have to do a full re-roof for them.
Okay, so repairs, what does a standard repair look like? Someone calls us, says, hey, my, my forehead's getting wet when I'm sitting on the bathroom, or it's coming down in my office, or whatever it is. What are we doing to repair those little leaks?
When it comes to like a residential home, for example, that could be something as simple as there's condensation happening in the gooseneck and we have to adjust things that way.
Yeah.
Or it could be some water getting in at a chimney or a valley or something along those lines. Maybe some shingles blew off in a storm and we have to fix that up. If it's a flat roof, it could be a cracked, tear, or split.
Okay.
Either way, our crews are fully knowledgeable in how to repair all of these issues.
Awesome. So if I'm sitting in my office and the water's leaking a little bit, I think it's going to be repaired. Give me like a general guideline on what should I budget for costs on something like that?
A repair could be anywhere from sort of $300 to $1,200, but every once in a while they do get a little more extreme, especially in a commercial sort of setting. Yeah, where they could be multiple thousands of dollars.
Okay, so they're not refinancing the building to have these things fixed up. We can come in there, kind of solve the problem, and then now we're going to start looking at longevity of the roof, all that stuff, which probably gets us into the re-roofing side of it. Give me, like, what do we love to do when it comes to re-roofs? What's our system of choice?
We've got a couple of really good ones. Our main one is if the roof If the roof qualifies for it in the sense that it's not been neglected for too long and it's not overly saturated, we can overlay it with an inch and a half of roofing foam, which adds a little bit of R-value to the roof, and then we coat that with silicone and granules, which is the protection for the foam. And then that's a restorable system. We can recoat that every 10 to 15 years and keep that foam in place for basically forever.
