Hey everyone, Cynthia here. I wanted to do another short video post and talk about the importance of morning routine. Now historically, I have, you know, I think everybody has a routine. You get up, you get ready, you might brush your teeth, you might prepare yourself in, in the same way, and that is a routine. But what I found is during the process of lockdown, and here in Medellín, Colombia, we still have a partial lockdown. So what does my morning routine look like? Well, upon the first thing in the morning, with my eyes flutter open, before I even grab my phone, I go through an exercise called PEARL to find my pearl of wisdom for the day. I'll talk about it more in a different post. But beyond that, I will, within my gratitude app, which is where I log my pearls, I list 3 things that I have gratitude for upon waking. I also do an internal validation. I am my own best cheerleader. Usually those are phrases that begin with, I am. Where necessary, I will dilate at least once a week. That's a topic for a whole other video. I will meditate on my intention for the day. What is it that I want to put out to the world? Yoga, if time allows, and taking my medications, having breakfast, and then get ready. That's what my morning routine looks like. I would love to know what does your morning routine look like and what kind of self-care do you do? Learning to do this kind of self-care is all in a step of acceptance of self. So if we want to learn to accept ourselves, we must do self-care. Con amor y abrazos de Colombia.
