This YouTube video titled "The Metaphor of Rain" (created 2021-01-17T15:33:17+00:00) is a first-person reflective monologue by a speaker who identifies herself as Cynthia, speaking from her home in Chesham. She describes a recent long walk, reflects on the sensory and emotional effects of rain, and uses the rain-as-washing metaphor to discuss renewal, water elemental symbolism, and a personal connection as a Scorpio. The excerpt reads like a personal reflection/journal-style piece rather than a multi-speaker conversation or interview.

Hey, Cynthia here. I'm reaching you today from my home here in Chesham. It is a sunny day outside, as you can see. Just finished a long walk, about 9.7 kilometers, um, so nice refresh. And part of what I was working on after I got home was I was rewriting some notes, and I wanted to share this one with you, um, Generally, I kind of feel like, you know, somebody in the universe needs to hear this message right now. And it was written, um, a wee while back whenever, um, we were going through a lot of rain. And it's still the rainy season, so there's still lots of rain. Today's just a glorious sunny day, so it helps the spirit to refill. But, um, you know It was the metaphor, rain is like a blanket that falls upon the earth. A weighted blanket. We feel it. We can really feel it that it's here. You not only feel it, but you smell it. That smell that comes with rain. So it very much creates a physical reaction to how we feel. And it creates an emotional reaction to how we feel whenever we're dealing with it. But rain washes away. And just remembering that that creates one of the key elementals, the water spirit, which is one of the four key elementals to deal with it. I'm a Scorpio, so a water sign. So absolutely, it is very much metaphorically a connection for me. And realizing that that washing away that I have no choice but to accept that rainy season is a way on a path to renewing. And sometimes that's the paths that we're given, is that we have these metaphorical rains that come to wash us and create anew.
