Understanding 'Squiggly Journeys' for Trans+ Awareness Week, Pt 7 of 7

Each of these transitions—the moves across countries, the changes in faith, my gender journey, and my return to the UK—has shaped me in ways I couldn't have predicted. My path has been far from straight. It's been squiggly. A squiggly path that loops and turns and twists that have added to each layer to who I am. But that's the beauty of life. Our paths aren't meant to be linear. Each twist and each turn teaches us something new, shapes our understanding, and enriches our sense of belonging. We all walk our own unique winding paths, and that's what makes our power— our stories so powerful. Trans Awareness Week is more than a reminder of the past. It's a call to action in the present. Trans issues are human issues, and the support we extend today builds a foundation for a more inclusive future for all. This week, as we reflect on our own journeys, let's all remember the importance of allyship that's rooted in action Recognizing, celebrating, hiring, and investing in trans voices.
