Dalen, how'd the workout go for you today?
It went good. Guys competed, and that's what I came here to do. So it was a great turnout.
I know you kind of dived in testing the waters initially. What's this whole process been like for you?
It's been great. Obviously, it's been a lot of ups, and I'm definitely leaning into a decision. So it's just great to go through this process. I'm blessed to be here.
What are you trying to show teams as you go through this process?
Just some basketball player. I'm versatile. Show what I can do on and off the ball, especially away— off the ball. I feel like I need to show just my whole versatile appearance and why I'm who they say I am.
You guys had such a memorable season in Arizona. You started the year unranked and you got a 1 seed. What— how much did you enjoy this past year?
It was the best basketball year of my life, honestly. And it was great just to be with those guys. Me being a Christian, especially the other guys, like, we've got memories I'm always gonna remember forever no matter what I do. And if I go back to school, we're gonna make some more memories. And if I don't, I got some good memories this last year.
One thing that stands out about you is your energy when you're on the court. Where does that come from, that energy, that enthusiasm?
Just me loving the game. I feel like that's the way that I I hype myself up again getting hyped. But I mean, I just love the game so much and that's just the way I show my passion.
You did a little bit of everything for Arizona, kind of played a defined role with so many different guys on that team. Do you think that helps you prepare for the next level where you're going to have a lot of talent around you again?
Yes, sir. I feel like it showed that you could put me in any situation and I'm going to be able to prevail no matter what. So I'm always going to find a little way to be a little bit different, and that was on key display this year.
I know you got the big decision coming up. What will factor into that decision for you?
Definitely just gut feeling at this point. I talked to everybody in my inner circle, so it's gonna come down to me, and all my decisions come down to me. So just me being able to sit down and rethink everything and putting it out.
