Why in the workplace do we have such a difficult time talking to each other? That means actually really listening. And even before the listening, the question is, can you learn to ask great questions and be interested in someone and really listen and get a conversation going so you can be interesting? You must be interested and interesting to connect with people. Otherwise it doesn't work. But why is it so difficult to figure out how to do that and how to all get along in the workplace? The answer is it's not that difficult. It's pretty simple. It's just not easy. And why is it not easy? Because we're mostly focused on ourself. So you want the answer? Stop focusing on yourself and learn to focus on others, the person in front of you.
