Today's video is about 5 tips for optimizing your Google My Business profile to make the most of it. We're going to start with number 1, which might be obvious, but a lot of the franchise brands we work with tend to forget about this and not prioritize it. That is collecting reviews and improving your online reputation. The best thing that you can do for your Google My Business profile and the franchisees' profiles to rank is collecting as many client reviews as possible. Those 5 stars are making a big difference in your local SEO strategy. Strategy and performance. So number 1, have a strategy about it and implement it for every single location. Make sure that all your franchisees are collecting reviews and are responding to them. Number 2, making sure that you integrate the Google listing on the local pages of the locations. You need to have all the information on there, the name of the business, the address, the phone number, contact details, working hours, and so on. If you don't have the information from the Google My Business profile on the local page and the listing itself integrated with Google API, the performance of that page is not gonna be as good. Number 3, making sure that you fill out all the fields on the listing. People skip a lot of those because they don't think they're relevant, like, is this an accessible business for people with disabilities? Or is this an LGBTQ-friendly business? Or is this a business where you can park? All of these small details make a big difference because you need to be optimizing and filling all the information about your business in the GMB profile. Number 4, make sure that you are submitting your business in the main business directories that are available on there, like Apple Maps, Bing Maps, Yellow Pages, Yelp, and relevant other directories for your business. And when you're doing that, and when you're registering and creating listings, you're using the exact same information of your business that you've used in your Google My Business profile. So if you've used that particular name, you use the same when you're registering for the other directories, the same phone number, the same address, and so on. Google and AI is all about consistency. The more places you register your business with consistent business information, the better. And lastly, number 5, it might seem like a very easy thing to miss because a lot of people don't see Google Business Profiles as a social media channel. If you have a social media strategy and you're posting on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other channels, just add in Google Business Profiles there and have regular posts with the same content onto the listing. That will also tell AI and Google that your business is active and it will help for it to rank higher and be recommended.
