In this concise solo video, the speaker addresses the common question of whether to hire an in‑house marketing leader or work with an agency. He outlines three key advantages of partnering with a competent agency: (1) access to a team of 20+ specialized experts across local service ads, SEO, AI optimization, etc., which far exceeds the breadth of knowledge a single franchise marketing manager or CMO can provide; (2) agencies maintain a dedicated R&D function that stays current with the latest digital‑marketing trends, Google algorithm updates, and industry shifts—something a busy in‑house professional cannot reliably do; and (3) hiring a “unicorn” employee who masters all channels is costly and impractical, whereas an agency delivers comparable expertise more cost‑effectively. The video ends with a call to action to save, like, and share the content.

I just got off a call and I was asked the same question I get almost every day. That's whether to hire in-house or work with an agency. So today I'm going to talk about 3 wins from working with an agency, especially an agency that knows what they're doing. Number 1, when you hire an agency versus your own internal franchise marketing manager or CMO, you get access to 20+ people that know what they're doing in the specific industry. So when you hire one franchise marketing manager, they might be great, but they won't be nearly as knowledgeable and vertically integrated into local, uh, service ads, into local marketing, into SEO, into AI optimization, and so on. So relying into one person versus having access to a pool of talent, um, is not comparable. Number 2, an agency knows what's going on with the latest digital marketing trends. And we have an R&D person that's keeping themselves updated with the latest Google algorithm updates, changes in the industry, and so on. One person in-house cannot keep up with the regular workload daily and also keep themselves updated with what's happening, what trend to jump on, what to be aware of, and what is the latest Google rollout update and so on. So agency wins every single time rather than an in-house person. Lastly, hey, if you want to find and hire and train a person that knows everything about all the channels, it's almost like looking for a unicorn, and that unicorn comes at a price. It will be much more cost-effective to hire an agency for specific tasks or channels rather than looking for a person that knows it all and is incredibly experienced. So cost, again, agency wins against hiring someone on payroll um, that's your experience. If you think that this was useful, save it, like it, and pass it to someone that might be thinking whether to hire an agency or an internal CMO or marketing manager. See you for the next video.
