One of the most common mistakes I see franchise brands do is not defining their ICP or ideal franchise avatar. So how can you start advertising and spend thousands of dollars on Meta, Google, LinkedIn marketing without knowing who you target? I know, wild, but they still do it. So if you have to have one takeaway from today's video, It's sit down and write everyone that you think you target. Break it down into age, location, experience, background, what they specifically get driven by or what they aspire to become, what their normal daily situations at work are like, so that it gives you an idea of what messaging to use, how to get to them. With your advertising campaigns. Normally I would use a template, a very helpful template, and I would fill it out with at least 2 to 3 buyer personas if I was to start a franchise marketing campaign or franchise development campaign. So if you wanted to use the template we use at Franchise Fame, I'll link it below. You can download it, it's free. It's super useful. It will take you about half an hour to an hour to actually create 2, 3, or 4 really good detailed buyer personas, but trust me, it's worth it. It will save you thousands of dollars in the long run. So if you haven't done that and you haven't given it to your marketing agency, freelancer, CMO, or whoever runs your ads, please do that today. And you'll thank me later.
