Most franchise ads fail because they say "buy a franchise" to people who don't know what that means. Only 3% of your audience is ready to buy. The other 97% want to start a business. Change your ads to say "start your own business" or "leave your 9-to-5," then use your landing page to teach them what franchising actually is.

Hi, yesterday we talked about everything that you should do to improve your franchise development landing page. Today I want to talk about your ads, the fran development ads. There are a few minor tweaks that you can do to increase conversion from those ads. And the one biggest mistake that franchise brands do when they're advertising for the franchise opportunity is the fact that they advertise with the messaging, "Buy a franchise from us." 'People won't necessarily respond to buying a franchise because only a few of those people are going to know about the franchise opportunity, what franchising is in general, and are going to click on that ad and come to your landing page.' The majority of your audience would not know about franchising, but they would want to become a business owner. So a better messaging in your ads would be "Start your own business," or "Become an entrepreneur," or "Leave your 9-to-5 job and work for yourself," that type of messaging so that you create demand for the franchise opportunity. You educate those people about the opportunity because let's be real, most of the people out there do not know anything about franchising, how it works and what it does. So it's your responsibility to educate them, get them on your landing page, and explain what franchising is, what the costs associated and the benefits of franchising are compared to starting on your own. So if you could take one takeaway from today's video, it's switch your messaging towards people who wanna start their own business. Only 3% from your whole audience, entire audience, know what franchising is and is ready to buy a franchise. The rest of those 97% need to be nurtured explained and educated about the opportunity. I hope this was useful, and I'll see you in the next episode.
